Brave:- This browser was founded by Mozilla co-founder Brendan Eich and Brian Bondy. It was founded on 28 May 2015, and its first version was launched on 20 January 2016, which has the ad-blocking capability. It is built on the same basic structure as chrome, i.e., Open source chromium. It is a free and open-source web browser.

Its main focus is to keep privacy safe; it automatically blocks the online advertisements and website trackers in its default settings and makes a difference between itself and other browsers. In November 2020, it had 20 million users, and in February 2021, it crossed 25 million. It is the first browser that is added to the Epic Games Store. 

Vivaldi:- It was founded by Opera Software co-founder Stephenson Von Tetzchner and Tatsuki Tomita. It was launched on April 6, 2016; it is built on the same basic structure as chrome and Brave, i.e., Open source chromium. In this browser, you can dock websites as side panels while using the main window. It is a freeware, cross-platform web browser; in April 2020, it had 1.5 million users. On September 6, 2019, it released a mobile(Android) beta version.     

DuckDuckGo:- It was founded by Gabriel Weinberg and was launched on 25 September 2008. It initially started as a search engine; it opposed Google’s data mining tactics. It has become a highly recommended and secure browser. This browser blocks tracking cookies that identify your device.

It gives you an option to set the timing at which your history gets cleared automatically. In 2011, it introduced a voice search for users. It shows the same search results for a given search term; this feature distinguishes it from other search engines.   

Firefox Focus:- This browser was developed by Mozilla; it was released on December 7, 2015. Firefox Focus is a free and open-source mobile browser. This browser just focuses on privacy; it works for android and ios smartphones and tablets. Initially, it was a tracker-blocking application in ios devices. It is a novel browser that blocks adverts with hidden cookie trackers and allows us to clear history with a single tap of a button.

Tor:- This is the youngest browser because of its launch date (May 2019). This browser is the oldest leader in anonymous communication. Tor is a free and open-source browser. Its main intention is to protect its users' personal information or privacy; the core principle of Tor is onion routing developed by United States Naval Research Laboratory employees, mathematician Paul Syverson and computer scientists Michael G.Reed and David Goldschlag to protect U.S. intelligence communications online. With the use of Tor, it becomes more difficult to trace the internet activity to the user.
