2. KINEMASTER
KineMaster is a comprehensive free video editor for Android smartphones with a range of advanced features, allowing professional editors to create high-quality videos and slideshows for presentations with sounds effects. The program is simple enough to use for personal purposes like editing family videos. In addition to these features, you can crop videos, add sounds, edit layers, and create effects. It’s possible to simultaneously add multiple files to the clips, including videos and images. Although the default filters can seem a bit outdated, fortunately, alternative filters can be purchased through the in-app store.
Compared to Quik, VidMate, and TubeMate, KineMaster works only in landscape mode. Contrary to popular belief, this makes it easier for you to edit videos on a smartphone. The video editing tool gives access to multiple controls in a hassle-free manner.

It can be difficult to find a video editing app that has everything you need in one place. CapCut is a mobile app for iOS and Android devices, specifically developed to complement the basic video editing features of the famous social platform, TikTok. The app is free to use and promoted as a free TikTok editing app. CapCut Android and CapCut iOS both have similar features that allow you to modify your TikTok videos with filters, stickers, speed changes, background music, effects, and more. In addition, it comes with split, reverse, and other editing tools to make your TikTok videos look more polished and professional.
The app, previously known as Viamaker and marketed in China as Jianying, was developed by a company purchased in 2018 by Bytedance, the same company as the one that developed TikTok itself, making it the perfect free TikTok video editing app.
After reviewing both versions (Android and iOS) of CapCut, we found that the app is easy to use and includes many attractive features designed for TikTok users.
CapCut has a vast library of songs and sounds that you can add to your video, as well as many stickers and fonts to add a bit of fun. Once you're done editing, tap the export button to share your videos on social networks, such as TikTok. Creating a quality, the high-definition video takes a few minutes with this app.
CapCut has all the essential features to edit videos without complex software easily. Make your videos eye-catching and fun with all the filters, virtual stickers, and other elements it has to offer.
5. FILMORA, GO
Filmora Go is Wondershare’s mobile video editing app for Android and iOS. It is designed to help you create movies quickly or - if you have the time - to fine-tune your edit, pepper it with effects, and share it with the world.
Templates are ready-made little projects with music, titles, transitions; everything is ready for you to insert your footage into.
The ones on display on the main screen are the most popular options, but tap on ‘more’ to see all available templates. There are twenty of them, broken down into themes, such as Food, Fashion, and Festival. However, only four of them are free, and it’s perhaps not surprising that the four trending templates are them.
It is possible to preview all templates, be they free or pro, to give you an idea of what you’re getting. Once you’ve made your selection, you then have to choose the clips you’d like to use.
At the bottom of the screen you're informed how many clips you need and the required length for each. This makes it easy to scroll through your available footage to choose the appropriate ones.
