1. Two and a Half Men

This 12-season long show is a comedy about The Harpers. The life of two brothers, Charlie and Alan Harper, along with Alan's son Jake and many women surrounding them. An uproarious joke machine, with jokes that make you jump up with laughter and sarcasm, pushes every funny nerve in your body. The brothers have a love-hate relationship with lots of twisted drama in Charlie's amazing Beach House. The show also displays the unique lifestyle of each character, the problems they face, and the way they almost handle them but end up in bigger catastrophes.

 

 

2. Two Broke Girls

This show revolves around two female protagonists in their mid-twenties, Max and Caroline. They work at a Brooklyn restaurant as waitresses. Both the girls have different upbringings, different cultures, likes, and dislikes, yet they were united by one factor alone, they were broke. The talks, jokes, comments, and hidden meaning make this comedy a gem to watch. It's a complete stress buster with humor that runs on for 6 seasons. 

 

 

3. MOM

This absolutely hilarious but warm piece of comedy starts with Christie, a struggling mom of two with an alcoholic past. She is starting to turn her life around but faces challenges on every step. Watch how she quirkily tackles all the problems with the most creative excuses. The show also presents characters like Christie's mom Bonnie, who shows up years after deserting her daughter and tries to fit in with the family. Several differently flawed characters are added as the show progresses that are sure to tickle your funny bone.

 

 

4. Friends

This 1994 Sitcom comprising 10 seasons was one of the best of its era and remained so till this day. This show has the best comedic timing and possesses warm, funny, emotional, and relatable characters. The friendship of the six characters is all hilarious and sarcastic in their own unique way. Every season showcases an unexpected twist with the weirdest of outcomes. It also displays the various relationships of each character with their respective families. The romance between some of the characters is ideal, and it brings a sense of warmth, caring, and compassion.

 

 

5. The Middle

The Middle is an American Sitcom with excellent characterization, having no protagonists or antagonists. The Hecks are a family of 5 extremely different people but related by blood.  All characters replicate various personalities in our daily middle-class lives. Every episode rings the bell of hope and optimism. Mike and Frankie Heck's parents showcase how exhausting it is to work two jobs each and still barely manage to make ends meet with subtle humor that can be well appreciated by every typical middle-class person. The siblings Axl, Sue, and Brick are a mischievous bunch who resent each other, and yet " They do for family." Amidst the tight finances, overscheduling, communication issues, and balancing work and family time, the parents still manage to be there for their children. The best depiction of wit and honest comedy about life's trials and a commoner's struggle.
