Before the event, there were many rumors that an all-new redesigned MacBook pro would be announced. But to our disappointment, there were no such announcements.
However, there are some significant announcements for the developers and the users in terms of software.
iOS 15
Facetime witnesses many great features that will bring the family and friends together in a completely different way. Spatial Audio has been introduced in Facetime to get a natural feeling when we talk to family and friends. Not just that, you can now schedule an event and share the facetime link with anyone to join the call. The critical thing here is not just to the apple users but also to share the link with Android and Windows phone users.
Share play makes it easier to watch a movie or listen to a song along with your friends. You can even watch the movie on Apple TV along with your friends. That is very interesting, and it gives us the feeling of watching movies together in the theatre. Much needed feature in this pandemic especially.
iPadOS 15
One of the exciting features for developers is now developers can build apps for iPad within iPad. Yes, you read that right. Introducing Swift playgrounds, developers can now develop and test apps within the iPad itself. Also, you can now multitask with Split and Slide over modes. This will highly increase productivity in iPad.Maps are getting a great feature that can even provide you a virtual direction to the destination based on your current location. Apple has also announced many more features like Focus, Movable widgets on the home screen, Notification summary, etc.
macOS Monterey
Apple has introduced Shortcuts in macOS now, with which you can save time by automating your everyday activities in your MacBook. Safari has been enhanced to protect privacy by hiding your IP address so that websites cannot track you. You also get Tab Groups to categorize the tabs in safari and return to the right when you need them instead of closing and opening them to avoid the clutter.
One of the great features is Universal Control. You could move files from your iPad to MacBook to iMac. This is just awesome. The entire Apple ecosystem provides beneficial features, enabling the creators and users to be more productive quickly.
watchOS 8
A lot of improvements have been made to Health and Fitness app. With the introduction of the new Mindfulness app and the existing Breathe app with a unique Reflect experience, users can have a stress-free environment. You can also send the photos from the watch via message or WhatsApp to your contacts right from the eye. Also, now you can have your portrait photo as the watch wallpaper.
tvOS 15
Apple TV now supports multi-windows security camera views, supports spatial audio with compatible AirPods. Together mode and screen sharing is now supported on Apple TV with Share Play Upgrade, and it can't get better than this.
We hope that much-awaited announcements on the Macbook pro M1X chip will be unveiled at the events planned later in the year.
