Top 5 anime to watch as a beginner

I'm mentioning some anime that I've loved watching in this article, and I'm sure you will too. These are some great animes for first-time watchers, and if you've already started watching anime and haven't seen these anime, you need to check these out! These are short or ongoing anime, so you don't have to give months or years to complete watching them. Some of them are ongoing, so you will have to wait for the next season.-,

 

1. Death Note (デスノート, Desu Nōto) :

Death Note is a perfect icebreaker if you want to start watching anime. Released in 2006, Death Note has a compelling story and very well-thought-out scenes. If you've never watched anime, this will probably change your perspective of cartoons. This anime has ended with 37 episodes.

 

2. Demon Slayer (鬼滅の刃, Kimetsu no Yaiba)

With so many intense and frightening scenes, Demon Slayer can prove really entertaining for new anime watchers. With a great story and state-of-the-art VFX, Demon Slayer became the most popular anime last year. ; The first season has 26 episodes, a movie has been released (Demon Slayer: Mugen Train), which is in continuation with the first season, and you will need to watch it if you want to watch the 2nd season. It is an ongoing anime; the release date of the 2nd season is currently not announced.

 

3. Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人, Shingeki no Kyojin)

Attack on Titan is probably the best anime made until now. It starts with a little off-note, but nothing in this anime goes unexplained. Everything has a logic behind it. Character development and importance are fantastic. This is definitely worth watching. This anime has 75 episodes so far, divided into 4 seasons. The last few episodes are expected to be released in January 2022. So if you can, complete all the episodes and if you want more of Attack on Titan, watch OVAs. Though OVAs don't have a major impact on stories, they are really entertaining.

 

4. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (鋼の錬金術師, Hagane no Renkinjutsushi)

Available on Netflix

This is the highest-rated anime to date. With a few versions released before, Brotherhood is the best version as it has a good ending. This anime is worth watching with powerful characters, a fantastically crafted plot, loads of humor, and tragedy. This anime has 64 episodes and OVAs, and specials.

 

5. Cowboy Bebop (カウボーイビバップ, Kaubōi Bibappu)

IMDb rating: 8.9

Available on Netflix

Cowboy Beebop really stands out in the sci-fi anime genre. It's delightful with only 26 episodes. With a really futuristic story setup, Cowboy Bebop has it all. So if you are a first-time watcher, you will definitely enjoy it. It was released in 1998, even though it felt to be really ahead of its time. Really enjoyable.

Note: These are short-duration and ongoing anime. You can start with watching long-duration anime, but these anime can be too long to keep track of. It's better to start with a short duration.
