Top 5 Android smartphone brands in 2021.

What is an Android smartphone?

A smartphone is a portable device that combines the functions of a phone and a computer into one device. They differ from feature phones in that they have more powerful hardware and mobile operating systems, which allow for more software, internet (including web browsing over mobile broadband), and multimedia functionality (including music, video, cameras, and gaming), in addition to standard phone functions like voice calls and text messaging. Smartphones typically contain several MOS integrated circuit (IC) chips, as well as a variety of sensors that can be used by pre-installed and third-party software (such as a magnetometer, proximity sensors, barometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, and more) and support wireless communications protocols (such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or satellite navigation).

NTT DoCoMo's i-mode platform, BlackBerry, Nokia's Symbian platform, and Windows Mobile gained market traction in the 2000s, with models featuring QWERTY keyboards or resistive touchscreen input emphasizing access to push email and wireless internet. Following the popularity of the iPhone in the late 2000s, most smartphones have featured thin, slate-like form factors with large, capacitive screens that support multi-touch gestures rather than physical keyboards and allow users to download or purchase additional applications from a centralized store, as well as use cloud storage and synchronization, virtual assistants, and other services. PDAs and palm-sized PCs have largely been replaced by smartphones.

What would be the history of Smartphones?

Several key technological advancements aided in the development of the smartphone. Moore's law predicted the exponential scaling and miniaturization of MOSFETs (MOS transistors) down to sub-micron levels in the 1990s–2000s, allowing for the development of portable smart devices such as smartphones, as well as the transition from analog to faster digital wireless mobile networks. Other important enabling factors include the development of more mature software platforms that allowed mobile device ecosystems to develop independently of data providers, as well as the invention of the lithium-ion battery, an indispensable energy source that enables long battery life, which was invented in the 1980s and commercialized in 1991.

  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra:

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G - Gadgetbyjas

The Samsung Galaxy S 21 Ultra costs 1,04,999 rupees.

Samsung's top premium flagship for 2021 is the Galaxy S21 Ultra, and what a phone it is. For the first time, Samsung has included S Pen support on an S-range handset, allowing you to get the Galaxy Note's best feature as an optional extra. Even without it, this is a stunning device with a brilliant quad-lens camera that can achieve a 10x optical zoom. In fact, we dubbed it the best camera zoom on any readily available Android phone in our review. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has a smooth Gorilla Glass back with a matte finish that looks better than the reflective Galaxy S20 range and a curved edge-to-edge 6.8-inch screen around the front.
And while we're on the subject of the screen, it's the first Samsung phone to feature both a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate at the same time. And as a high-end Samsung screen, it's one of the best on the market. Of course, there's a lot of power here, and while it's obviously expensive, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra had a lower starting price at launch.

OnePlus 9 Pro Renders Tip Quad Rear Camera Setup; OnePlus 9 Triple Camera Details Leaked | Technology News

One Plus 9 Pro costs 69,999 rupees.

OnePlus phones used to be known for cutting corners to keep prices low, but that is no longer the case with the OnePlus 9 Pro. It's a top phone in every way, and it's still slightly less expensive than most comparable handsets. It also has the best OnePlus camera phone, with a big, sharp, and all-around high-quality 120Hz screen, top-end power from its Snapdragon 888 chipset, a big battery with fast charging whether wired or wireless (at 65W and 50W, respectively), and premium metal and glass build – with water resistance. This is noteworthy because it's an area where OnePlus has previously struggled to compete. Still, the OnePlus 9 Pro is the first fruit of a new partnership with Hasselblad, and the camera brand's expertise shines through. All of this high-end tech means the OnePlus 9 Pro is more expensive than previous models in the series, which is the main criticism, but it's difficult to argue you're not getting your money's worth.

  • Samsung Galaxy S 21:

Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus Review - the Awkward Middle Child

Samsung Galaxy S21 costs 67,999 rupees.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is the most basic and affordable model in the Galaxy S21 lineup, but it offers a lot more than just a low price. The triple-lens camera is extremely versatile, with the three core lenses, we'd expect from a high-end smartphone – a primary lens, a telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide lens. They're all very good at what they do. There's also high-end power, long battery life, and a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen. It's also a lot smaller than the rest of the S21 lineup, at 6.2 inches, so it's ideal if you don't want a big phone. The Samsung Galaxy S21 is not only the most affordable of the range, but it's also a step down in price from its predecessor, making it a bit of a steal – though to do so, the screen resolution has been reduced to Full HD+. The back of the phone is made of ‘Glasstic' rather than actual glass.

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra:

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Review: Ultimate Android | WIRED

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra costs 1,01,999 rupees.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is Samsung's latest super-premium Note smartphone, with advanced features, a great-looking screen, and special features for the S Pen stylus that comes included in the phone that give you even more ways to use your device. Sure, it's pricey and big, and it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the Galaxy S21 Ultra does. However, those flaws are outweighed by many benefits that elevate it to the top of the Android phone rankings.

  • Xiaomi MI 11:

Exclusive: Xiaomi Mi 11 scheduled for December 29 launch - Gizmochina

Xiaomi MI 11 costs 24,999 rupees.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 isn't the top of the Mi 11 line – that honor goes to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra – but it's still a great Android phone with plenty of power and a capable camera. There's a 108MP f/1.9 main lens and a 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide lens, both of which are good, but the camera's star is its 5MP telemacro snapper, which is far better than most phone macro cameras and works from further away from the subject. The Xiaomi Mi 11 also has a great 6.81-inch 1440 x 3200 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a battery that charges fast, both wired and wireless. The actual battery life wasn’t amazing in our tests, and we’d have liked to see a telephoto camera included, but otherwise, the Xiaomi Mi 11 is a great flagship.
