A Very well scripted show, and the best casting was done by any show so far. It has 2 seasons till now. However, the use of strong language and strong visuals makes this series only for adults.
2. Family Man
A world-class spy who is National Investigation Agency that tries to protect the nation from terrorism is struggling to manage both family and work at the same time. Perfect comic timing and the perfect script makes this show special. What's going Happens next? This curiosity keeps us engaged with the series and meets our expectations. The main character, played by Manoj Vajpayee, is the star of the series. His presence on the screen keeps us very entertained. This must-watch series has 2 seasons so far. The second season deals with more sinister enemies. Even better than the first season, I must say.
3. Sacred Games
Starts with police officer Sartaj Singh receives an anonymous tip about the location of criminal overlord Ganesh Gaitonde. From this point, we experience an extraordinary storytelling experience. Amidst the chaos, trappings of a corrupt underworld are revealed. After being removed from the Gaitonde case, Singh begins his own investigation as he works to save Mumbai from impending doom. Flashbacks reveal some of the crimes that Gaitonde has committed through the years. Perfect casting, best script ever, and best cinematography make this series worth watching.
4. Patal Lok
Hathiram Chaudhary, a lower caste cop who's bullied by Superiors. He is looking for a case that can help him promote his police post because he is doing this job without promotion for over 10 years. And now, 4 suspects are caught under the piracy of murder of a top journalist, “Sanjeev Mehra.” Now the case comes in the hand of Hathi Ram, and when he starts an investigation with his mate and colleague Ansari, he finds that there is something deep and dark behind all these.
5. Panchayat
This series is a masterpiece. Its simplicity is its essence. Simple yet gripping! Jeetu, an MBA aspirant, takes a teacher's job in a village due to a lack of a job. It deals with simple problems in his life and the innocent solutions they come up with to deal with the situation. Natural acting by all the characters is the heart of the series. Perfect casting and mind-blowing cinematography. The series also touches on dowry & women empowerment issues in rural India by aptly representing the dilemma and undergoing a transformation in society. Again no exaggerated plots or evils.
