Rani Laxmi Bai Central Agricultural University is a central agricultural university located in the Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh.  The Government of India established the University through the Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University Act - 2014, which the Parliament passed in 2014.  The first academic session of the University was started in July 2014.  The University follows a semester system with two semesters every year.  Like other agricultural universities, the main objective of Central Agricultural University, Jhansi, is to provide education in various branches of agriculture and allied sciences, research agriculture, undertake programs of extension education, and promote linkages with national and international educational institutions.

Chandrashekhar Azad Agricultural and Technological University, Kanpur, is an agricultural university located in the Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh state in India; it was established in 1975.  It is named after the famous revolutionary Chandrashekhar Azad of Kanpur. Started in 1893 as a small school, it used to train officers of the Revenue Department.  1906 Converted as Government Agricultural School.  Uttar Pradesh Institute of Agricultural Sciences in 1969 and became a full-fledged university in 1975.  It has five faculties.  The Faculty of Agriculture and Home Science is in Kanpur, and the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, the Faculty of Fisheries, and the Faculty of Milk are in Etawah.  This University looks after the needs of agricultural communities in 29 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
   U.P. At that time, the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Mathura, was merged with the University.

   Admission to the undergraduate program is offered through the UPCATET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test).  of Uttar Pradesh.  The seats in UPCATET are allotted as per the merit of the students, and their choice is taken through UPCATET at the time of counseling of 2008-09; now, this entrance exam for the session 2020-21 this year is conducted by CSAUA&T, Kanpur.

Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology (ANDUaT), formerly Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology (NDUaT), Kumarganj, (Faizabad), is a university located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, with its chancellor Anandiben Patel and vice-chancellor Bijendra Singh,  Which was established on October 10, 1975.  It is named after the politician and teacher.  Narendra Deva, who served as the Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University and Banaras Hindu University.  It also has constituent colleges in Ambedkar Nagar district and Azamgarh district and a planned college in Gonda district.

 

  Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology is a public university recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.  This University has earned its name by imparting quality education, research in various agriculture, horticulture, and training in veterinary science, technology, etc.  Students will be able to take admission in B.Sc, B.F.C, B.V.Sc, and A.H. and B.Tech in this University.  At the same time, in the P.G. program, M.Sc and MVSc will be admitted to the course.  Students selection is made by Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test.

Banda University of Agriculture and Technology has been established as a full-fledged State University, with the unique honor of being the "First Agricultural University of Bundelkhand Region."  The University was notified vide Government Order No. 301/79-V-1-10-1 (K.A.) 27-2009 Lucknow and established on March 2, 2010, under the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Universities Act (Amendment) 1958 Gazette-

 

Act 2010  had gone.  Initially, it was named as "Manyavar Shri Kanshi Ram Ji University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda" under the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Universities Act (Amendment) Act, 2014, No. 1528(2) as "Banda University of Agriculture and Technology,  Banda."  In the ranking of ICAR, it holds 49 places in the country and 2 in the state.
  They were dated December 4, 2014.  The University has been established to develop agriculture and allied sectors in the whole of Uttar Pradesh and especially the Bundelkhand region.  It is committed to serving the Bundelkhand region with the trinity concept, i.e., complete integration of teaching, research, and extension for the development of agriculture and allied sectors to ensure food security and enhance the socio-economic status of the residents.  

 

The state government of Uttar Pradesh has given the University
 (A) Human Resource Production and Development
  (b) generation and completion of technologies
  (c) entrusted the responsibilities of their dissemination to the farmers, gardeners, and dairy farmers in Chitrakoot Dham.  Jhansi and Chitrakoot Dham Division comprises four districts, namely Banda, Chitrakoot (Karvi), Mahoba, and Hamirpur, while Jhansi Division comprises Jhansi, Lalitpur, and Jalaun (Orai) districts.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, was established on October 2, 2000, under the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Universities Act (amended, 1958) and honored being the first agricultural university of the 21st century.  It was inaugurated on March 2, 282002.  The University is ranked 15th in the All India Agricultural Universities Ranking for 2018 conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. It holds the highest rank among agricultural universities of Uttar Pradesh.  It is included in the list of recognized universities maintained by India's University Grants Commission (UGC) and affiliated with ICAR.  It is committed to a unique mandate of integrating education, research, and extension to serve the rural community.

 

  The University has the undertaking to impart education in agriculture and other allied sciences, advance learning, and pursue the prosecution of research and the extension of such sciences, particularly to the rural people of western Uttar Pradesh.  Over the years, this University has contributed significantly in transforming the agricultural landscape in its jurisdiction of four revenue divisions of Uttar Pradesh, i.e., Meerut, Saharanpur, Moradabad, and Bareilly.  In these divisions, 18 districts are Baghpat, Bijnor, Badaun, Bulandshahr, Bareilly, GB Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Amroha, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Pilibhit, Rampur, Saharanpur, Sambhal, and Shahjahanpur.

 

  ThUniversityty has grown into a campus with six colleges: College of Agriculture, College of Biotechnology, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, College of Horticulture, College of Post Harvest Technology and Food Processing, and College of Technology providingU.G.G education in six subjects,  M.Sc./M.Tech in 12 subjects, MVSc.  in 16 subjects, and Ph.D.  in 10 subjects.  ThUniversityty has three Regional Research Centers at Bulandshahr, 10 Research Centres/Units, and one Veterinary Clinical Complex at Ujhani, Badaun and Nagina, Bijnor, and University Headquarters.  Extension activities are carried out through 20 Krishi Vigyan Kendras located in 17 districts and one Krishi Gyan Kendra in Bareilly.
