1.Jai Alai
‘It is a Latin American game which is the faster sport in the world .’ The ball is known as a pelota and is smaller than a baseball but harder than a golf ball. The speed of the ball reaches up to 350 kilometers per hour. Jai alai, also known as Cesta Punta, is a sport that is contested on a court known as Pancha. Players play with curled basket known as a cesta attached to their wrist. The player catches the ball and hurls it with tremendous power without holding or juggling it. This is a game of finesse for the better part of the 20th century. Jai Alai was the sport in Miami. Jai Alai's a very famous sport back in the 40s, 50s and comes from Europe, France, Spain. It is one of the oldest of all games.
2.Bossaball
It is a popular and spectacular new and unusual sport hybrid of volleyball, beach soccer, gymnastics, and capoeira. The combination of football, gymnastics, and volleyball is one of the unique events on the sporting landscape. It was invented in Spain. This sport was developed by Filip Eyckmans in 2004. Music is a major component of a baseball show. The name baseball expresses the aim to combine sports, music, and positive vibrations. Bossaball is played on an inflatable court with trampolines on each side of the net. The ball game is played between two teams, each consisting of four to five players. Some other countries where Bossaball has been introduced include Brazil, Mexico, France, Germany, Turkey, Hungary, Switzerland.
3.Sepak Takraw
It is a popular Asian sport. Each team has three players on the court at one time. The players use their feet,knee-chest, and head to throw the ball over the net. This requires spectacular jumps and flips to kick the ball over the net. Sepak Takraw is introduced by the Chinese. The word takraw is Thai in origin. Takraw can be translated as a muzzle or woven rattan ball while speaking is the Malay word for kick sepak takraw is referred to the sport played using takraw. Therefore, sepak takraw quite literally means “ to kick a ball. “The international sepak takraw federation holds competitions with teams from over a hundred different countries.
4.Quidditch
It is based on a factorial game of the same name invented by author J.K Rowling. It is a new sport loosely based on Harry Potter that has become popular worldwide. Real-world enthusiasts have invented a land version that is played on a hockey field. The game first began in US colleges and has since spread across the states. It has grown into its own separate and distinct sport after 10 publications of rulebooks. Teams must have a minimum of seven players, of which six are always on the pitch.
