Top 4 The Dieting Mind Set
When it comes to diet, most people set themselves up for failure before they start the process. They are terrified of the food they eat,
Set realistic, attainable goals
You’ve probably set goals to lose weight in the past, but setting goals can be a tricky process. Sometimes we forget that diets are tools, not books and that they’re only effective if you use them. Set yourself a realistic, attainable goal, and you’ll do just fine.

Get the right mindset.
If you want to lose weight, then there is a process to follow. That process involves taking action. The diet mentality doesn't usually involve taking action, but the right mindset does. However, there are few ways you can get the right mindset to achieve your goal.
Here are a few ways to get the right mindset: First things first, take action. For those who don't know, over 500 million Americans live with a diet-induced disease. The way to beat this disease is to take action to help yourself beat it. Think like an athlete – imagine yourself as an athlete who has done over 200+ marathons. The body needs specific nutrients to perform at the highest level, much like an athlete needs specific nutrition.
Set your priorities straight
The people who need to concentrate on food first are those who are overweight. The most effective way to lose weight is to focus on your body composition, not your diet.
The best way to do this is to review your clothes and shoes every so often. Get a feel for the clothes that you already have. The more outfits you have, the more likely you are to use them as your go-to outfit. You can rotate between three outfits, so they last. Think about how well your clothes fit you.
Does the material cling to you, or is it loose and flowy? Does it hang down on your hips, or does it fit everywhere? Do you have visible loose skin? How do you feel? Are you focused on how your clothes fit you? You want to find out what types of clothing are most comfortable.
Make the necessary changes to your diet.
I hear this all the time, “I’m just not hungry this week; I just don’t want to eat.” Well, now that you know that, do you plan to start eating a lot more this week? I don’t think so. You have to make the necessary changes to your diet, starting with cutting out what you already know you eat. I recommend trying to eliminate the foods you know you shouldn’t be eating for 2 weeks.
There are a couple of great resources on how to go about trying to cut out these foods but be sure to read and understand them thoroughly. You will be surprised at how well it works. Number one, and the most important thing, is that you must not cheat on your diet. The minute you start “cheating” on your diet, your willpower is compromised.
