 The former India international announced his retirement from all forms of Indian cricket in September 2022. The swashbuckling right hander has been one of the finest cricketer’s team India has ever produced who has gone on to win a few IPL titles as well.

 Uthappa has represented franchises such as the Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, and Pune Warriors India during his stint in IPL. The right hander has always been a delight to watch with his most recent outing in the league came for CSK when he was the main stay for the side.

 He spent two seasons with the Chennai franchise having scored 345 runs in 16 matches, including a crucial knock in the final of IPL 2021 against his former team KKR. Uthappa has two IPL titles under his belt, one with KKR in 2014 and 2021 with CSK.

 The ‘champion’ Dwyane Bravo has not just been a legend of the sport but arguably one of the greatest entertainers of all-time on the pitch. Whether it was his songs, his dance on the pitch, on-field hilarious one offs with rival players, Bravo did it all to keep fans entertained.

 The Caribbean all-rounder began his career with the Mumbai Indians after which his services were acquired by the Chennai Super Kings. Bravo is one of the only players to have played every IPL since 2008 expect for the 2017 season.

 After 14 seasons in the lucrative T20 league, he finished as the highest wicket-taker with 183 wickets. Furthermore, he has won the IPL title three times and the Champions League title once with the Chennai Super Kings. Now, the Trinidadian cricketer will take over as bowling coach at CSK.

2. Suresh Raina

 One of the all-time legends of the top-tier league, Suresh Raina announced his exit from IPL with his retirement news this year. The southpaw nicknamed ‘Mr IPL’ is the leading run getter of the Yellow Brigade during his stint with the CSK franchise.

 After being overlooked by the franchise in 2021 as he warmed the bench, he also went unsold in the mega-auction for IPL 2022. Following which, the batter decided to announce his retirement a couple of months later.

 In his long and illustrious career, Raina amassed 5528 runs in 205 matches with 39 half-centuries and one century to his account. He also won four titles donning the yellow jersey of Chennai during his IPL career.

1. Kieron Pollard

 Pollard has represented just one side throughout his career and that is the Mumbai Indians. Being an explosive batter, Pollard mastered the art of finishing games and flourished into becoming one of the all-time greats of the sport. Pollard announced his retirement from the league in November just prior to the official announcement of the IPL 2023 players retention list.

 Being a livewire on the field with good reflexes, Pollard was terrific in terms of his fielding skills as well. The all-rounder has 3,412 runs in 189 matches since his debut in 2010 for the Mumbai franchise.

 The 35-year-old won the IPL five times in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 and the Champions League in 2011 and 2013. The power-hitter is all set to take on a new role in the side as a batting coach.
