WHAT IS K-POP
K-pop is the South Korean Pop culture that includes many bands, many music artists that generate billions of dollars for its economy. It has the craziest fanbase in the whole world.
K-POP STANS ARE TOXIC
So basically I got to know about there toxicity when in 2018 BTS army targeted about Raftaar's song MANTOIYAT when these fans started to tweet about how this is a copy of BTS's Kim Namjoon's DO YOU. They were saying that Raftaar has copied the whole music video and that song is a complete rubbish... We all agree that the music video was copied but no one noticed about the message he was trying to convey through his music video, it had a very deep message about our society but instead of appreciating him for his efforts they started to troll him. And the most funny part about the incident was that he wasn't the director of the video only the music was his own.
PS:- Now I'm not trying to say that I support copying but try to research somethings on your own, Don't hate anyone just like that
K-POP STANS ARE CRAZY ABOUT THEIR IDOLS
The reason behind people hating k-pop, in there STANS. Stalker+Fan=Stan. Stan are those people who have dedicated there whole life to idols, who breach there privacy and the people who have already reported this article... Are Stans. Kpop artists have the largest number of stans and this can be negative or positive depending on different k-pop idols, but for society, it's only negative.
Back in 2019, BTS's Jungkook met with an accident because he did not followed the traffic rules and he agreed on this, he was trending on tweeter after this incident. But the Army's didn't liked it because jungkook was trending for negative reasons that's why they tweeted random posts and things just to hide the fact that he's trending for something negative. You'll have to wait for 30min to know exactly why this man is trending on tweeter
SOMETIMES THESE STANS CROSS THEIR LINES
So back in 2016, there were rumours that our beloved Jungkook is dating, so these Stan's started to trend the tweet #cutforkookie. I know that y'all are very innocent and you think that "Awwww there fans are so happy that they are celebrating this by cutting cookie because our beloved Jungkook has got a GF and now he'll be so happy." But NO this tweet was to spread the awareness to other BTS Army to cut some flesh out of there body because they think they Kookie which is the nickname of Jungkook can't date anyone because he is there idol and they own them. Now I don't know how many of the fans have done that but if you search this on Google you'll still find posts related to this. After this incident many k-pop labels banned dating for there idols so that there fans can fantasize them in there dreams even more, and well it worked actually. And because if these kind of circumstances many idols commit suicide Because of the cyber bullying and the work load they have
