Today Infinix is trying to leave its luxury device at the entry and center level with the launch of the Zero X series - the company’s first three phones to install periscope lenses.
While periscopes are often the subject of a high-end model, Infinix was so fascinated by photographing the Moon that he equipped all three of them with a 5x digital magnification periscope. It also developed an algorithm called Galileo Engine to control the camera while taking pictures of the Moon and later processed data to get a more precise result.
Cameras
The three models use different large cameras, however. The packaging leader, Infinix Zero X Pro, features a 108MP sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The Vanilla Zero X has a 64MP sensor (with OIS), while the Zero X Neo comes with a 48MP camera (no OIS).
As macro shooters, three phones share periscope modules with an 8MP sensor and dual 8MP ultrawide (120º) cameras. Finally, there are 16MP selfie cameras on the front with dual-LED flash.
Chipset and power
All three models are powered by MediaTek's Helio G95, a 12nm chip with dual Cortex-A76 (2.05GHz) and Mali-G76 MC4 (900MHz). This chipset comes with a 90Hz refresh rate with 1080p + resolution, but that's not ideal for the Pro model. Or a vanilla model.
The Zero X and X Pro use the same 6.67 ”AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sample rate. How so? The G95 is paired with MediaTek's Intelligent Display chipset, which enables a high level of refreshment.
LCD And Battery
The Zero X Neo converts to a 6.78 "LCD with a 90Hz frequency and a touch rate of 180Hz. This phone also has a larger 5,000 mAh battery and 18W charging (with TUV Rheinland certification).
The X and X Pro are fast - their 4,500 mAh batteries support fast charging of 45W, which can range from 0% to 40% in 15 minutes (this is also TÜV-certified). Why not use Infinix's 160W charging technology? Yes, the company is still looking at the budget and, in this series, has chosen to spend more money on a camera and display hardware rather than charging. And 45W is not going well.
Ram Ram
The trio comes with XOS 7.6 (based on Android 11) and UFS 2.2 storage. The Pro model starts at 128GB and offers a 256GB option; the other two are set at 128GB. RAM is 8GB in all cases.
Availability
The Infinix Zero X series will be available on standard player recruiting companies - Nigeria, Thailand, Indonesia, Egypt, and other regions. However, there are no plans to expand to Western Europe or the US yet.
The price will be disclosed separately in different countries but should be at the level of $ 300.
The Pro model will be available at Nebula Black, Starry Silver and Tuscany Brow, Vanilla in Black and Silver, Neo in Black, Silver, and Bahamas Blue.
In addition to phones, the company has also introduced two TWS headsets, the Infinix X220, and XE25. The XE20 features a low-latency mode that drops to 60 ms, with 10 mm drivers and a combined diaphragm. The XE25 converts to a graphene diaphragm and has a total playtime of “over 100 hours” (LCD case charging to keep battery track).
