China reported 28 new provide-19 cases on the mainland for September 8, up from 19 a day earlier; the national health authority said none of the new infections were local on Thursday. Reuters reported.
The total confirmed provide-19 cases in mainland China are 95,111, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.

Guntur: Guntur Range Deputy Inspector General of Police CM Trivikrama Varma said the police arrested accused in B Tech student Nallapu Ramya murder case and Narasaraopet Kota Anusha murder case within a few days and took up investigation.
Addressing the media at DPO here on Wednesday, he said that the police officials filed the charge sheet in the two murder cases within two days.
He further added that the police officials reached the spot within 15 minutes after getting calls from Disha App and solving the problems.
He assured that the police would take stern action against those who harass women and girls. He recalled that the police officials started motivating women and girl students to download the Disha App to get protection in case of need. Replying to a question, he said so far, 47-lakh women have downloaded the Disha App.
Guntur rural SP Vishal Gunni said no police permission for TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh to visit the Guntur district on Thursday. He said Nara Lokesh's visit is politically motivated, for which there is no permission. He urged the political leaders not to participate in his tour program.
Guntur urban SP Arif Hafeez recalled that the police arrested the accused in Nallampu Ramya's murder case within a few hours. He urged the devotees to follow Covid-19 norms during Vinayaka Chaviti celebrations.

Anantapur: Scores of animal deaths due to road mishaps on the state and national highways and foul smells emanating from them inconveniences vehicle drivers and sometimes result in ghastly road accidents. Removal of corpses of dead animals has become a challenge as no one is taking responsibility for removing the animal corpses.
"The government should establish a procedure for the removal of dead animals on the national highways. There should be a control agency to handle injured, dying, or dead animals.
National highways should be divided into clusters, and each set should have a Blue Cross or an agency that looks after the removal of dead animals and clean the remnants within 12 hours. The commuters should be given information regarding the services, and the government should make arrangements to dispose of the carcass," says M Suresh Babu, social worker.
Every day thousands of cattle, livestock, poultry, and dogs, cats meet with road accidents. Thousands of people travel on National highways every day. No one likes to catch a glimpse of a dead animal on the side of the road, but it can be a daily occurrence on roads.
Last week five people traveling in a Tata Magic vehicle were killed. Ten others sustained injuries in a ghastly road accident near SC Colony of Rolagampadu village in Tarlupadu Mandal.
On spotting the carcass of a buffalo on the road, the driver tried to negotiate a turn but lost control of the vehicle and collided with a truck coming in the opposite direction.
The National Highway and the local village secretariats should be held responsible for removing dead animals on the ŕoads. Most stray dogs are killed on the roads, and one can witness at least one dead animal every kilometer. These carcasses are thrown in lakes, ponds, abandoned places, and adjacent to roads in villages, which again is a health hazard.
Every day thousands cross these roads covering their nose, but nobody bothers to give a complaint.
The National High Ways personnel, Police patrol team, and highway users are urging government intervention to make travel safe and hassle-free on the state and national highways.
