Chair Yoga can be easily performed in accordance with many physical rehabilitation instructions. Many physical therapists are experienced in Yoga and are Yoga teachers. Many physicians, physiotherapists, and medical professionals recommend Yoga to patients who perform “relapses.”
Yoga helps these patients the strength to move forward, when many will be depressed. The return experience I was encouraged by Yoga Over time, I have seen people recover from heart attacks, strokes, and car accidents.
It touches me that they thank me for teaching them Yoga or Chair Yoga.
The courage to continue came from their minds, but Yoga became an important part of their lives. As a Yoga teacher, the inspiration was consistent and made me feel useful. After all, being helpful and appreciative is a major motivation for teachers of any subject.
Muscle tone is the result of the stretching of a muscle group. Functional muscles are visible to anyone who chooses to use them. This is also a great way to free yourself from anxiety, depression, stress, and prevent depression. Like the other benefits, mentioned earlier, this contributes to good health throughout the body. A healthy body, in fact, compliments a healthy mind.
For those confined to a chair, it is wise to install a weight-bearing exercise program, or weight-loss program. For those who are able to stand, Chair Yoga is another form of weight loss that will stimulate bone formation.
Yoga is very helpful in recognizing stress
Here are a few medical conditions that can be improved by practicing yoga. It can be used to reduce the side effects of infertility, pneumonia, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, insomnia, cancer, high blood pressure, and joint pain. The beneficial effects of yoga practice are well documented not only by the yoga community but also by medical professionals.
The reaction of the sympathetic nervous system can cause stress in our metabolism. Reactions to a variety of external factors are also known as "war or flight" response - mind and body, facing a dangerous or disruptive factor, prepare for one of two options. In the body, this is characterized by rapid heart rate, as well as high blood pressure. Breathing becomes shallow "and" the muscles tighten in anticipation of the next action. Internally, this response reduces blood flow to the internal organs and processes that are not essential at that moment (such as digestion and elimination) are shut down. This state of increased awareness and readiness is beneficial in the short term, preparing our body to respond to external interventions and motives. In both "war" and "flight" mode, the body is physically and mentally ready to do something. The problem arises when prolonged exposure to the same stress occurs. This "fight or flight" response is only intended to help in the short term - if it is activated for a long time, small resources will be required for the body to function normally.
Yoga highlights the idea that by using breathing and relaxation techniques, you can reduce the harmful effects of stress on your body. Reduced responses to "war or flight" can be achieved by viewing negative aspects as challenges rather than threats. This approach allows your mind to focus on finding a solution, rather than on a sudden one. One concept used by this method is to compare reaction, to taking action and responding to external factors.
