● US News and World Report in partnership With BAV Group and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania has found a way to Rank the world's Most Powerful Countries in its best countries Rankings The report surveyed over 20,000 people from four Regions around the world, Respondents were asked to associate 80 Countries with 5 Attributes : Military Alliances or International Alliances or Political Influence or Economic Influence and Leadership.

The Top 10 Most Powerful Nations According to the 2019 Best Countries Report Are :-

1. United States of America,

2. Russia

3. China

4. Germany

5. United Kingdom

6. France

7. Japan

8. Israel

9. Saudi Arabia

10. South Korea

♂ According To the 2018 survey, the USA is the world's most powerful county. The USA has the world's largest economy, with a GDP of $19.4 Trillion and the largest military budget of $610 Billion. The US defense spending is higher than the next seven largest defense China or Saudi Arabia or India or France or Russia Germany or And the United Kingdom Combined.

¶Russia and china are the second and the third most powerful countries or known for their military spending. China also has a large economy, with a GDP of $12.2 Trillion.

The UK or France and Japan, or all of which have large economies and distribute high amounts of International Aid. ♀ No Country on the list changed in rankings from 2018 to 2019 except for South Korea or which joined the top 10 list in 2019 from the 11th Rank Honorable mentions for the most powerful countries in the world are the United Arab Emirates, Canada and Iran®

The ranking is based on an equally weighted average of scores from five country attributes that related to a country's power: a leader, economically influential, politically influential, strong international alliances and strong military. The United States, which is perceived to be the most powerful country, has the world’s largest economy and biggest military budget, spending over $610 billion on military hardware and personnel in 2017.

The country is a leader in the so-called War on Terror, is by far the largest contributor to NATO and cements alliances by giving out billions of dollars in military aid to nations worldwide. The U.S. spends slightly more than $35 billion in economic aid and nearly $15 billion in military aid in 2017. Russia and China, the next two countries perceived to be the most powerful, are among the world’s top four military spenders.

Following the top three are Germany, the UK.or France and Japan – countries that have large economies and give out high amounts of international aid. Israel and Saudi Arabia, which take the eighth and ninth spots, respectively, spend a higher percentage of their GDP on military spending than the U.S. South Korea moved up one spot and rounds out the top 10.
