1. Phone the Nurse
If you are a registered nurse, then you could work for health insurers or health management companies like Humana, Aetna, and UnitedHealth Group. They hire nurses remotely to handle case management, treatment authorization, and patient education.
2. Transcriptionist/Transcriptionist
This job essentially consists of listening to audio files, such as lectures or medical dictations from doctors, and then writing down what you hear. It's an entry-level gig that can pay up to $25 an hour.
