Just in case you don't know, a civic legend is a humorous or terrible story that's extensively circulated and believed to be true, especially one that the teller claims to have witnessed firsthand or heard directly from another person, but that's false. There's no way we'd forgive whoever told the first civic legend. Although these stories make our lives much more intriguing, the fallacies they spread can also be bothersome.
When allowing about civic legends, we can only conclude that the internet age has not helped effects. In history, you could only spread a civic legend by word of mouth or by dial-up telephones, but now, you can spread a civic legend all over the world with just many clicks on your computer or smartphone.
Video games have also had their fair share of civic legends we find some of these stories funny, while others are strange. But worst of all, some are downright creepy. Then are ten videotape game civic legends that are just crazy.

This urban legend tells of a mysterious arcade game that was said to have been tested in Portland, Oregon in the early 1980s. The game was said to have caused players to experience seizures, hallucinations, and even amnesia. However, there is no evidence that the game ever actually existed.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask -
Some players believe that the game's story and characters are based on a real-life tragedy involving the suicide of a young boy. However, this theory is not supported by any evidence.
Lavender Town Syndrome -
This urban legend refers to a supposed wave of sickness and suicide among young Pokémon players in Japan, which was said to have been caused by the game's music. However, there is no evidence that this ever actually happened.
The Cursed Game of Minecraft -
Some players believe that Minecraft is cursed and that if you play it, you will be haunted by the game's characters and creatures. However, this is not true.
The Ghost in the Machine -
This urban legend tells of a ghostly figure that appears in the game Pac-Man. However, this is not true, as the game does not contain any supernatural elements.

This urban legend tells of a supposed hidden level in the game Doom that features demonic imagery and the likeness of Satan. However, this is not true, as there is no such level in the game.
The Sims 2 Ghost Baby -
There is a rumor that if you play the Sims 2 and have a baby, it will die and become a ghost that will haunt your other sims. This is not true, as the game does not include ghosts or any supernatural elements.
The Dormant Alien in Grand Theft Auto V -
Some players believe that there's a hidden alien in the game that can only be seen on a specific date and time, but this is not true and is an internet hoax.
