The THIRUKKURAL is traditionally praised with epithets and alternate titles like “Universal Text” and “the divine book” with 1330 couplets. Each couplet has the same set of seven words. Written on the foundations of Peace.
It emphasizes non-violence and moral veganism as virtues for a private additionally, it highlights truthfulness,
Self-restraint,
Gratitude,
Hospitality,
Kindness,
The goodness of wife,
Duty,
Giving, then forth.
Besides covering a good range of social and political topics like how a king should rule, minister’s wisdom, rate of taxes, justice, rigidness of forts, rage of war, the greatness of an army, soldier’s loyalty and honor, the importance of agriculture, power of education, death sentence, abstinence from alcohol, intoxicants and many others. கொன்றன்ன இன்னா செயினும் அவர்செய்த

Even a person who had done a worst sin to you can be forgiven by remaining yourself the one good thing done to you by that person.

குறள் 1062:
இரந்தும் உயிர்வாழ்தல் வேண்டின் பரந்து
கெடுக உலகியற்றி யான்.
If one have to survive in the mercy of others, let the creator of this world flew and die without peace of his mind.

Chapter: Restraining Anger
குறள் 307:
சினத்தைப் பொருளென்று கொண்டவன் கேடு
நிலத்தறைந்தான் கைபிழையா தற்று.
Restraining anger will bring you the painful impacts, as a person strikes land with his bare hands, it is an unavoidable one.

பிறப்பொக்கும் எல்லா உயிர்க்கும் சிறப்பொவ்வா
செய்தொழில் வேற்றுமை யான்.
All Living beings are equal as others right from their birth, the greatness comes with their actions and qualities of one self.
