                    The Straw Hat Pirates, are an infamous and powerful pirate crew that originated from the East Blue.

The "Straw Hats" are named after Luffy's signature hat that was given to him by "Red-Haired" Shanks. They are the main focus and protagonists of the manga and anime One Piece and are led by the main protagonist Monkey D. Luffy.

1. MONKEY D.  LUFFY

Monkey D. Luffy, also known as "Straw Hat Luffy" and commonly as "Straw Hat", is the main protagonist of the manga and anime, One Piece. He is the founder and captain of the increasingly infamous and powerful Straw Hat Pirates, as well as one of its top fighters.

He desires to find the legendary treasure left behind by the late Gol D. Roger and thereby become the Pirate King, which would help facilitate an unknown dream of his that he has told only to his brothers and crew. He believes that being the Pirate King means having the most freedom in the world.

Luffy is the son of Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, and the grandson of the Marine hero Monkey D. Garp, and their family carries the initial and Will of D.

2 .ZORO

Zoro was the first crew member to be recruited by Luffy. Zoro is a skilled swordsman who fights with his own unique sword style (three sword fighting style).

3. JIMBEI

"Knight of the Sea" or "First Son of the Sea" Jimbei is a whale shark fishman, a former warlord. He renounced his warlord title at the Battle of Marine ford.

He was even invited to join the Straw Hat Pirates, but declined due to having unfinished business of still being affiliated with Big Mom;

however, he promised that once he was ready, he would return to Luffy again and request to join his crew. After he left from big mom, he joined the Straw hat in the Land of Wane.

4. VINSMOKE SANJI

Vinsmoke Sanji also, known as "Black Leg Sanji" is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates and one of the Senior Officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.

He is the fifth member of the crew and the fourth to join the crew. His dream is to find the rumored chef's paradise, All Blue, which is where East Blue, West Blue, North Blue, and South Blue meet, along with their wildlife. He is one of the top three fighters of the Straw Hats, alongside Luffy and Zora.

5. FRANKY

Iron Man Franky, "Cutty Flame" is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates and one of the Senior Officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. He is the crew's eighth member and the seventh to join the crew.

Franky and his followers were originally enemies of the Straw Hats at the beginning of the Water 7 Arc, until circumstances forced them to become allies at the end of the same arc and the Enies Lobby Arc. Franky's dream is to create a ship and circumnavigate the world with it, and he built the Thousand Sunny and joined the Straw Hat Pirates to fulfill his dream.

6. BROOK

"Soul King" Brook, straw hat's one of their two swordsmen and one of the Senior Officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. He is the ninth member of the crew and the eighth to join the crew.

Originally a member of the Rum bar Pirates, he died and was resurrected through the power of the soul devil fruit. However, due to the amount of time it took for his soul to find his body, it was reduced to a skeleton, keeping only his Afro intact.

Brook drifted alone in the Florian Triangle for 50 years, eventually meeting Luffy and serving as the Straw Hats' ally during the Thriller Bark Arc before officially joining the crew. His dream is to reunite with his old friend, Lagoon, at Reverse Mountain, where he resides with Crocus.

7. NICO ROBIN

Nico Robin, "The Demon Child" is one of the Straw hat pirates. Robin is the seventh member of Straw Hat's Crew. Robin joined the Straw Hat Pirates after Luffy saved her life, or Luffy forced her to live when she wanted to die. To atone for his crime, Robin demands that Luffy allow her to join his crew, to which he complies, leaving every other crew member except Sanji in shock. Although feared at first, she is quickly accepted and viewed as a comrade by the crew.

Robin is actually an archaeologist of talent, and despises anyone who thoughtlessly damages any piece of history. The World Government fears her because she can decipher Pone glyphs, which contain details capable of reviving ancient weapons that have the power to destroy the world.

In reality, Robin has stated that she does not care about ancient weapons, and that her dream is to find the True History written on the Rio Pone glyph.

8 .TONY CHOPPER

Tony Chopper, also known as "Cotton Candy Lover" Chopper, is one of the Senior Officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. He is the sixth member of the crew and the fifth to join the crew.

Chopper is a reindeer that ate the human Devil Fruit that allows its user to transform into a human hybrid or a human at will. He came from Drum Island and was taught how to be a doctor by his two parental figures, the Doctors.

His dream is to one day become a doctor capable of curing any disease, and wants to travel all across the world specifically in the hopes of accomplishing this dream.

9. USOPP

"God" Usopp, also known as the "sniper king" is the sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates and one of the Senior Officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. He is the fourth member of the crew and the third to join the crew.

Usopp is the son of Yasopp and Banchina. He was born and raised in Syrup Village, serving as "captain" of the Usopp Pirates and being Kaya's close friend.

After working with the Straw Hats to defeat the Black Cat Pirates, he was invited to join the crew. Despite his usual cowardice, Usopp dreams of becoming a brave warrior of the sea just like his father and lives every day in pursuit of living up to this dream.

10. NAMI

"Cat Burglar" Nami is one of the Senior Officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. She is the third member of the crew and the second to join the crew.

She was formerly a member of the Arlong Pirates, and initially joined the Straw Hats so that she could rob them in order to buy back her village from Arlong.

However, she legitimately joined the Straw Hats after they rebelled against and defeated Arlong. Her dream is to make a map of the entire world.
