1. FAILURE IS THE STEPPING STONE TO SUCCESS

A tiny ant carried a huge feather. Several times it faced problems in its path, and after a pause, it made the necessary route change. At one point, the ant had to negotiate a crack in the wall about 10mm wide. After a brief pause, the ant laid the feather over the crack, walked across it and picked up the feather on the other side, and continued on its journey. I was surprised at the cleverness of this ant, the smallest creature. It is indeed a miracle of creation. 2. BE A WINNER {FAITH}

Two friends were walking through the desert. They argued some point of the journey, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt but, without saying anything, wrote on the sand."Today my best friend slapped me in the face."They kept on walking until they found an oasis where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mud and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: "Today my best friend saved my life."The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend his friend, asked his friend, "after I hurt you, you wrote on the sand, now you on a stone, why? The other friend replied: "when someone hurts us, we should write it down on sand where the wind of forgiveness can erase it away. But when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it on the stone where no wind can even arise.

 

3. BE A GOOD LISTENER

A couple was just married...... And it was their first night together. The husband wanted to share his experience, somewhat like a confession. He began like this, "when I was young and in college, I used to drink with my friends. But from today onwards......" he was not even allowed to complete his sentence. The new bride opened the door and walked out. "You have got me married to a drunkard...My life is ruined!" She screamed at the parents. The husband who was watching this scene was so filled with shame that she ran away, not only from the house but also from the town.

 

4. EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR GOOD.

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, inhabited island. He prayed feverishly to God to rescue him, and every day, he looked for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually built a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements. After collecting some fruit, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling onto the sky. The worst had happened. He was stunned with grief. "God, how could you do this to me?" He cried. Early the next day, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. " How did you know I was here?" Asked the man. "We saw your smoke signal," they replied.

 

5.I KNOW IT 

A gentleman was once visiting a temple under construction. In the temple premises, he saw a sculptor making an idol of the god. Suddenly he saw just a few meters away, another identical idol lying. Surprised, he asked the sculptor, "Do you need two idols of the same god?" 

"No, "said the sculptor, "we need only one, but the first one got damaged at the last stage, so I am making another one." The gentleman walked up to the other idol and examined it. No apparent damage was visible. "Where is the damage?" he asked the sculptor." There is a scratch on the nose," replied the sculptor."Where are you going to keep the idol?" The gentleman asked."The idol will be on a pillar 20 feet high," the sculptor replied. "When the idol will be 20 feet away, who is going to know that there is a scratch on the nose?" the gentleman asked. The sculptor looks that the gentleman smiled and said: "God knows it, and I know it."

 

6. HE CARES

One night a man had a dream. He dreams that he was walking along the beach with the lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. In each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand one belonged to him, and the other belonged to the lord. When the last scene of his life flanked before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that there was only one set of footprints many times along the path of his life. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and the saddest time in his life. This really bothered him, and he questioned the lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that there is only one set of footprints during the most troublesome times in my life. I don't understand why; when I needed you most, you would leave me.

 

The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you, and I would never leave you. During your time of tiring and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

 

7. THE BEAST IN YOU

This is a story about an older man who explained to his grandson one evening after prayers about a battle that was going on inside himself.

The grandfather said, "My child, the battle inside me is two wolves, one of whom is so evil, full of anger, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, hypocrisy, self-pity, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is so good, full of the resemblance of God, faith, peace, love, compassion, hope, serenity, humility, benevolence, empathy, generosity and truthfulness". The grandson pondered for a minute. He then asked: "Grandfather, which wolf will win the battle?". The grandfather simply replied, " the one I feed."

 

8. DO NOT BLAME

One hot day, Nasruddin was relaxing in the shade of a walnut tree. He looked at the huge pumpkins growing on the tiny plants and the small walnuts growing on the majestic tree." Sometimes I cannot understand the ways of God," he thought, "He lets tiny walnuts grow on a majestic tree, and huge pumpkins grow on such delicate plants."Just then, a walnut snapped off and fell on Mullah Nasruddin's bald head. He got up at once and, lifting his hands and face towards heaven, and he said: "Oh, God! Forgive me for questioning your ways! You are all-wise. Where would I have been now if  pumpkins grew on trees!"

 

9. AVOID OVER-ENTHUSIASM

Eleven people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter, ten men and a woman. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided that one had to leave. Otherwise, they were all going to fall. They weren't able to name that person until the woman gave a very touching speech. She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope because, as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her husband and men in general and was used to always making sacrifices with little in return. As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping their hands.

 

10. A DONKEY IN THE WELL.

One day a farmer's donkey fell into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They each grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw. 

 

As every shovel of dirt hit his back, the donkey did something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off.

 

CONCLUSION
