According to the Forbes World's Billionaires List, the top 5 people on the planet are listed below as of May 2021:

  1. Jeff Bezos is the founder and CEO of Amazon and Blue Origin, the world's largest retailer. He is the world's richest individual, with an estimated net worth of $177 billion.
  2. Elon Musk is the CEO and co-founder of Tesla and the CEO, chief designer, and founder of SpaceX, Neuralink, and The Boring Company. His net worth is reported to be $151 billion.

 

  1. Bernard Arnault is the chairman and CEO of LVMH, the world's largest luxury goods company, and the chairman of Christian Dior SE, its holding company. His net wealth is believed to be $150 billion.
  2. Bill Gates is co-founder of Microsoft, the world's largest software corporation, and co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. His net worth is believed to be $124 billion.
  3. Mark Zuckerberg is the co-founder and co-CEO of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and the CEO, chair, and co-founder of Facebook, the world's largest social networking site. His net worth is reported to be 97 billion dollars.
