A poem is an individual's quest for truth, although it is not just only that. The poet's intuition often comes close to a fact that appeals to university. That truth then becomes a personal or a public ideal, which is not the reality because it is an ideal. A measure of the distance between reality and unique dreams is a measure of the poet's dissatisfaction. As the discontent grows, poetry will ridicule, persuade, scold, satirize, and express disgust. The closer the reality to the ideal, the greater the joys of the poet.
