The Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced a huge cast of superheroes with a wide array of abilities. With the end of the first phase of MCU, there have been several comparisons, yet everyone is picking their favorite as the most powerful Marvel superhero.
According to my, the followings are the Top 10 superheroes of MCU.
I do this by scoring each character by their strength, durability, versatility, etc. All the characters included in this list are based on the MCU’s versions. None of them are from the comics or any other Universe outside the MCU.
10- Antman
Antman initially had the power to shrink himself to the size of an ant and enter the subatomic universes and return to normal. Over time he became more powerful when he learned about size-shifting from nearly microscopic to almost 100 feet giant man. He also has the ability to transfer his size-shifting ability to other beings and objects.
9- Spider-man
The most loved superhero of 90’s kids,, Spiderman, is one of the most powerful characters in Marvel. He has superhuman abilities derived from mutations resulting from the bite of a radioactive spider. Spiderman has speed, agility, and balance, and most important, he has a precognitive sixth sense referred to as his “Spider-Sense.”
8- Black Panther
T’challa, known as Black Panther, is a powerful warrior and the king of the secretive and highly advanced African nation of Wakanda. He has speed, reflexes, stamina, and senses. He is a highly proficient tactician, strategist, knowledge and also a good leader as he is a king of a nation. His suit increases his strength as it gives him a Healing factor and Super Durability. It's tough for anyone to beat him in hand-to-hand combat as he knows martial art very well.
7- Hulk
Everyone knows how dangerous it is hulk as he smashes giant aliens of the chittori army with a single punch. After controlling his mind, he became professor hulk. While in a calm emotional state, the professor is capable of lifting more than 100 tons. He lifts Thanos's gauntlet with 6 infinity stones to snap. He can leap great distances and land without harm to himself.
6- Iron Man
Most of the superheroes in MCU have a special suit or undergo some intended or accidental experiments. Still, tony stark, known as Ironman, is the topmost avenger with or without his suit as he is a genius-level intellect and proficient scientist and engineer. His expertise in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, electrical and mechanical engineering. With his suit, he becomes more powerful as it gives him superhuman strength and durability, fights, and an array of weapons. He updated his suit over the years; in the endgame, He made a suit from nanoparticles which were incredible.
5- Captain America
From a poor orphan to leading up to America in World War 2, Steve Rogers (Captain America) stands ready for the nation to be oppressed and fight for freedom everywhere. After being infused with the Super-Soldier serum, Steve Roger’s body reached the upper-most limits of human perfection in strength, stamina, agility, and durability. This accounts for many of his extraordinary feats, including bench pressing 1100 pounds (500 kg) as a warm-up, vision, and reflexes fast enough to dodge bullets, and running a mile (1.6 km) in less than a minute. Cap carries a concave shield composed of vibranium and steel alloy, which he often uses for defense and attack. He lifted Thor's Mjolnir easily in an endgame against Thanos, proving that he was worthy enough. Apart from all these abilities, Cap is a great leader, and his never give up and fight until death attitude put him on the list of many other superheroes.
4- Scarlet Witch
Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch born with the latent magical ability to harness Chaos Magic. On her own, Scarlet has the power to shift reality. She can place her victims in a trance-like state while subjecting them to nightmarish memories and visions. Wanda was even able to put ironman, hulk, Captain America, Natasha into full berserker mode. She can lift any object and use attacks against the enemy by her hand gestures.
3- Thor
As the Norse God of Thunder, Thor can summon the elements of the storm (lightning, rain, wind, snow) and uses Mjolnir as a tool to focus this ability. He can cause these weather effects over the world and destroy entire buildings. As the son of the Earth goddess Gaea, Thor has shown some control over the Earth. Thor possesses a very high resistance to physical injury that approaches invulnerability. He has even survived energy blasts from Celestials. Thor has the ability to travel through time. His stamina allowed him to battle the entire Frost Giant army for nine months without any sustenance or rest. Thor can fly at supersonic speeds in Earth’s atmosphere and travel faster than light in space. With all these powers and abilities, Thor the God of Thunder is number 3rd on this list.
2- Doctor Strange
Recognized the world over as one of the most brilliant neurosurgeons, Stephen Strange tracked down to Ancient One (who is the Earth’s Sorcerer Supreme) in the Himalayas after a terrible car accident shatters the bones in his hands, leading to extensive nerve damage. After learning the magic from Ancient, One, Doctor Strange is described as “the mightiest magician in the cosmos.” He holds the title of Sorcerer Supreme after Ancient One’s death. He utilizes mystical artifacts, such as the Cloak of Levitation, which enables him to fly (which also tried to save him from Ebony Maw,, a son of Thanos), and the Eye of Agamotto, an amulet whose light is used to negate evil magic. His other abilities are Forcefield Creation, illusions, probability manipulation, dimensional travel, and time manipulation. He can erect a defensive barrier to protect himself from harm with its gathered magic.
1 Captain Marvel
Former Air Force pilot and intelligence agent Carol Danvers accidentally transformed into a human-Kree hybrid with extraordinary powers. Carol took on the identity of Captain Marvel. Marvel Studios head commented about Captain Marvel as she is as powerful a character as we’ve ever put in a movie. Her powers are off the charts. Spending twenty-three years journeying through the universe,,, she can manipulate and absorb energy and generate it. This gave her full control over stellar energies such as heat, light, and radiation.
She can easily survive in space with nothing to aid her. She is bulletproof. Along with the ability to generate and project energy, the Binary transformation also allowed her to control gravity. It’s tough to completely end her life as she has a great healing ability. In the past, she has been able to recover from intense attacks,, including nuclear explosions,, within hours. With all these extraordinary abilities,, she remains in the first position on this list.
