1 Get plenty of sleep
Sleep is essential for our physical and mental health. Sleep helps control the chemicals that transmit information to our brain. These chemicals are important in managing our moods and emotions. If we do not get enough sleep, we may start to feel sad or anxious.

2 Eat well
The dry to eat a balanced diet. Eating well is important not only for our body but also for our mind. The Efficiency of certain minerals like iron and vitamin B12 deficiency gives us a low mood. If you feel that you are a particularly stressed or anxious person, you should limit or reduce caffeine because it makes you feel irritated and anxious.

3 Avoid alcohol, smoking, and drugs
Alcohol and smoking are not always associated with withdrawal symptoms, but they can be some of the factors that can damage your mental health. The next day when you drink a few drinks, you may feel more depressed and anxious and have difficulty concentrating. Prolonged alcohol consumption can lead to thiamine deficiency. Thiamine is important for our brain function, and deficiency can lead to serious memory problems, motor (coordination) problems, confusion, and eye problems. If you smoke, your body and brain will fall backward between cigarettes, causing irritation and anxiety.

Other medications will often cause you to withdraw and often cause a much lower mood and anxiety. Of more serious effects of drugs include insanity and delusions. Some research suggests that drug use may be linked to the development of mental disorders such as schizophrenia.

4 Get plenty of
sunsSunlight is a great source of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is actually an important vitamin for our bodies and our brain. It helps our brain release chemicals that improve our moods, such as endorphins and serotonin. Try to go out in the sun whenever possible, but make sure you protect your skin and eyes. 30 minutes to two hours of sunlight per day is ideal. During the winter, some people get depressed because they do not get enough sunlight - this is called Seasonal Effective Disorder (SAD). Some people have found that using a special light therapy lamp can help reduce symptoms.

5 Manage stress
Stress is often inevitable, but knowing what causes your stress and how to deal with it is crucial in maintaining good mental health. Try to manage your responsibilities and concerns by creating a list or schedule to solve each problem. Often if you break down your worries and tensions and write them down, you will realize that they are manageable. Try not to bury your head in the sand and fix any problems that may arise. If you find yourself falling asleep or thinking about all the things that are stressing you out, write them down and reassure yourself that you can deal with them early in the morning.

6 Activity and exercise
Activity and exercise are essential to maintaining good mental health. Being active gives you the feeling you have achieved and increases the chemicals in your brain that can help keep you in a good mood. Exercising can relieve low mood, anxiety, stress and fatigue, and lethargy. It is associated with longevity.

7 Do the work you enjoy
Try to allocate time to do fun things that you enjoy. If you like going for a walk, painting, or going to a specific TV show, make time for yourself to enjoy yourself. If we do not take the time to do the things we love, we can become irritable and dissatisfied.

8 Connect with others and be friendly
Whenever possible, you should have all four of these components in place for launch to maximize profits. Being friends is important for your self-esteem and providing support when you don’t feel great. Research has shown that just talking to others for ten minutes improves memory and test scores!

9 Do things for others
Helping others is not good for the people you are helping; This is good for you too. Helping someone will help your self-esteem and make you feel better about your place in the world. Feeling you are a part of society is actually an important part of your mental health. You can volunteer for a local charity or be a neighbor.

10 Ask for help
One of the most important ways to keep yourself mentally healthy is to identify when you are not in good health and to know when to ask for help. Don’t be ashamed to ask someone for support if you are low or stressed. Everyone goes through patches where they don’t feel fit. You can try to talk to your friends or family or talk to your GP if you feel your mental health affects you.
