Everyone knows Sloth is one of the laziest animals in the world. They spend 20 hours sleeping every day. This creature is considered the slowest animal in the world, with a speed of 0.24km/hour. Apart from sleeping, this creature does not like to move their body and takes an hour to move any parts of their body.

Sloth is found in the tropical rainforest of South Africa. They eat and gives birth on the tree. They come down to the tree to defecate once a week. They feed only on leaves that are found on the trees they live in themselves. Because of eating too little, they are so weak and lazy.

 

2. Koala

Koala are marsupials mammals.These animals are adorable, and at the same time, they are swamped.  They spend their entire day sleeping and stay awake for only 2 to 6 hours. They like to eat eucalyptus leaves.  They need a lot of energy and spend their sleeping in the eucalyptus tree.

Koalas are found in the eucalyptus forest of southeastern and eastern Australia. They both rely on the eucalyptus tree for both habitat and food.

 

3. Opposum 

These creatures look like a rat, but they are very lazy compared to the rat's nature. These creatures have the ability to sleep for 18 to 20 hours a day. They also move very slowly. If these creatures find a place where there is a complete arrangement to live, they do not move until there is a threat to their life. That is why they live in caves or nests built by other animals. 

 

4. Hippopotamus 

Hippopotamus is herbivores animals.These heavy-bodied animals spend 20 hours a day sleeping and the rest of the time chilling in the water. When these creatures live on the ground, they are seen enjoying the sun in the group while ,their body is completely submerged in the water. They spend time sleeping, eating grass and flowers.

 

5. Giant Panda 

Giant Panda is one of the cutest animal in the  world. The Pandas are found in the bamboo forest spend 10 to 12 hours a day sleeping and the remaining time is spenton feeding.

Pandas is a herbivores animal that prefers to eat the only bamboo as a food. They need to eat at least 20 kilograms of bamboo in one day to keep their body healthy.

 

6. Python  

Although Python is very active while hunting, you will be surprised to know that it spends 18 hours a day sleeping, thesecreatures mostly remain inactivem after eating a bid meals. It takes too much effort to digest.

 

7. Echidna 

Echidna is known as spiny anteaters. They are a mammal that moves very slowly and spends 12 hours a day sleeping. These creatures have long, dangerous spine in their body due to which their body temperature is shallow,, and they never sweat.

Echidna are mostly active in night and spend the rest of the day sleeping . These animals live in Australia and hate the heat, so they do not come out in the sun.

 

8. Nurse Shark

We all know that shark is fast prey fish and never spare their prey. But nurse shark is quite different species from other sharks.

Nurse sharkslie motionless in the sea's bottoma instead of swimming in the water like other sharks. They spend all the day sleeping and keep themselveslves alive at night by hunting small fish or mollusks.

 

9. Cuckoo

Bird also can be lazy especially the cuckoo bird, which lays an egg in another bird`s nest . This bird does not like to work hard and takes responsibility at all. They do not raise their own children and instead , they depend on other bird to do it for them.

The cuckoo  bird can be found anywhere with tree. They mainly inhabit deciduous and coniferous forest.

 

10. The Hamster 

The hamster are rare species in the world. They are related to rodents' family, but most of the species are lazy. These creatures sleep a lot and also go into hibernation. They eats seeds fruits and vegetables.
