Kim Taehyung, commonly known as V professionally, is a South Korean singer and a member of the boy band BTS. He was born in Korea on December 30, 1995. V has released three solo songs under their name after making his group debut in 2013: "Stigma" in 2016, "Singularity" in 2018, and "Inner Child" in 2020. All of these songs reached the top 10 on South Korea's center Digital Chart. In September 2021, Lisa released her debut album as a solo artist, Lalisa. Almost 736,000 copies of the record were sold there during the first week after release. The music video for its first song, which has the same name, had 73.6 million views on YouTube in the first day after release, making it the most-watched music video by a solo artist to date. The second song from the album, "Money," and "Lalisa" both peaked in the top ten of the Billboard Global 200.

She began her career as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first extended play (EP), Lost and Found, after signing a trainee contract with LOEN Entertainment (now Kakao Entertainment) in 2007. (2008). Even though her subsequent albums, Growing Up and IU...IM, were commercially successful, she didn't become a household name in the United States until "Good Day," the first single from her 2010 album Real, was released. The song "Good Day" later spent five weeks in a row at the top of South Korea's center Digital Chart, and in 2019, it was named the best K-pop song of the decade by Billboard.
