K-pop Idols: 

A K-pop star, either as a solo artist or as a part of a group, is referred to as an idol in South Korean fandom culture.

1.  V (BTS) - 27 years old

Kim Taehyung, commonly known as V professionally, is a South Korean singer and a member of the boy band BTS. He was born in Korea on December 30, 1995. V has released three solo songs under their name after making his group debut in 2013: "Stigma" in 2016, "Singularity" in 2018, and "Inner Child" in 2020. All of these songs reached the top 10 on South Korea's center Digital Chart. In 2016, he had an appearance on the soundtrack for the television show Korean drama (The Poet Warrior Youth), and in 2019, he self-penned and published "Scenery," his debut independent single.

2.  Jungkook (BTS) - 25 years old

South Korean singer Jung-kook, also known by his stage name Jungkook (also written as Jung Kook), was born in Korea on September 1, 1997. He is a vocalist and a member of the South Korean boy band BTS. As part of the BTS repertoire, Jungkook has released three solo songs: "Begin" in 2016, "Euphoria" in 2018, and "My Time" in 2020. All three of these songs have reached the top 100 in the center Digital Chart. Also, he sang "Stay Alive," the theme song for the BTS-based webcomic 7 Fates. He appeared on the Charlie Puth song "Left and Right" from 2022, which reached its top position of number 22 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. He released a song for the FIFA World Cup later that year.

3.  Jimin (BTS) - 27 years old

South Korean singer and dancer Park Jimin (Korean, born October 13, 1995), also known by his stage name Jimin, is from that country. He debuted in 2013 as a member of the South Korean boy band BTS, recording with the company Big Hit Entertainment. Three solo songs by Jimin have been released under the BTS moniker: "Lie" in 2016, "Serendipity" in 2017, and "Filter" in 2020. All three songs have achieved success on the center Digital Chart in South Korea. He co-wrote the digital tune "Promise" that was his first credited solo song, which was published in 2018. He collaborated with Ha Sung-woon on the duet "With You," which was recorded for the soundtrack of the TV drama Our Blues in 2022, and appeared on Koran singer song "Vibe" in 2023.

4.  Lisa (BLACKPINK) - 25 years old

Lisa, popularly known as Lisa, is a Thai rapper, singer, and dancer who was born Lisa on March 27, 1997. She is a member of South Korean girl group Blackpink. In September 2021, Lisa released her debut album as a solo artist, Lalisa. Almost 736,000 copies of the record were sold there during the first week after release. The music video for its first song, which has the same name, had 73.6 million views on YouTube in the first day after release, making it the most-watched music video by a solo artist to date. The second song from the album, "Money," and "Lalisa" both peaked in the top ten of the Billboard Global 200.

5.  Jennie (BLACKPINK) - 27 years old

Jennie Kim (Korean, born January 16, 1996) is a South Korean singer and rapper better known by her stage name, Jennie. Jennie, who was born and raised in South Korea, spent five years there to study before going back in 2010. In August 2016, She is a member of South Korean girl group Blackpink. Jennie released her first song as a solo artist, "Solo," in November 2018. The song was a commercial hit, topping the center Digital Chart and the World Digital Songs list on Billboard. Using the stage name Jennie Ruby Jane, she will make her acting debut in the 2023 season of the HBO series The Idol.

6.  SUGA (BTS) - 29 years old

South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer Min Yoon-gi (Korean, born March 9, 1993), also known by his stage names Suga and Agust D, is from that country. He made his public debut in 2013 as a member of the South Korean boy band BTS under Big Hit Music. Agust D, his debut mixtape as a solo artist, was initially published in 2016 and then again in 2018 for digital download and streaming. It peaked at number three on the Billboard Global Albums Chart. His second solo mixtape, D-2, was published in 2020 and reached its top positions at number two on Australia's ARIA Album Chart, number seven on the UK Albums Chart, and number eleven on the US Billboard 200. The Korea Music Copyright Agency claims that Suga is credited with authorship and production on more than 100 tracks.

7.  IU (SOLO) - 29 years old

Lee Ji-eun, popularly known by her stage as IU, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress who was born in Korea on May 16, 1993[1]. She began her career as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first extended play (EP), Lost and Found, after signing a trainee contract with LOEN Entertainment (now Kakao Entertainment) in 2007. (2008). Even though her subsequent albums, Growing Up and IU...IM, were commercially successful, she didn't become a household name in the United States until "Good Day," the first single from her 2010 album Real, was released. The song "Good Day" later spent five weeks in a row at the top of South Korea's center Digital Chart, and in 2019, it was named the best K-pop song of the decade by Billboard.

8.  RM(BTS) - 28 years old

Kim Nam-joon, formerly known as Rap Monster (Korean: ; born September 12, 1994), is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer. RM, the leader of the South Korean boy band BTS, issued his debut mixtape by himself, titled RM, in 2015. In 2018, he released his second mixtape, Mono, which at the time was the highest-charting album by a Korean solo artist in chart history. Mono reached at number 26 on the US Billboard 200. With the release of his studio album Indigo, which included collaborations from Erykah Badu and Anderson. Paak, RM, made his formal solo debut in 2022. The album is the highest ranking work ever by a Korean solo artist, peaking at number three on the Billboard 200.

9.  Jisoo (BLACKPINK) - 28 years old

Kim Ji-soo is a South Korean singer and actress who goes by the stage name Jisoo. She is Korean and was born on January 3, 1995. She is a member of South Korean girl group Blackpink, which debuted in August 2016. She made her acting debut in 2015's The Producers, where she appeared in a cameo role, and she had her first starring part in the JTBC series Snowdrop (2021–22).

10.  Rosé (BLACKPINK) - 26 years old

Roseanne Park, a Korean-New Zealander singer and dancer who goes by the moniker Rosé, was born on February 11, 1997, in South Korea. Rosé was born in New Zealand and reared in Australia. She is a member of South Korean girl group Blackpink in 2012 and was signed. She trained for four years before making her debut with the girl group Blackpink in August 2016. Rosé released her debut solo album, R, in March 2021. The album's first week sales of 448,089 copies set a record for a Korean female soloist. A financial triumph, "On the Ground" was the first song by a Korean female soloist to chart on the US Billboard Hot 100, hitting in the top five nationally.
