Top 10 Ideas To Help You Keep Your Resolutions Or Goals

If you have some New Year's resolutions or set goals for yourself or your business for the coming year, here are some ways to keep you on track and focused.

1. Less is more

Have 3 or 4 most decisions. More of this will make it harder for them to focus on it. If your decisions cannot be reached in less than a year, create others once you have achieved this.

2. Look for success

Know what it means to carry out your decisions. A dream of the day about it. What does it look and feel like? Achieving your dream only happens if you are motivated enough to stick to it. If you don't keep thinking about how much you want it and how good you will feel if you do it or practice it (or give up the habit!), You will lose interest.

3. Write it down

Here's another way to stay focused on your decisions. There is something more permanent about this written page than just having it in your head. Sometimes the act of writing down is enough to keep you on track and focused.

4. Tell someone

Have a friend, mentor, or coach answer you. Once you have told someone, it is embarrassing to admit that you did not stick to it. Sometimes we know that's the only way we're going to do it. Some people are motivated by the positive aspect of doing so, and others need to fear the consequences of not achieving it. Both can help.

5. Post them

Attach a copy of your solutions where you see them / regularly. Just seeing the list will keep reminding you of what you are trying to do. Where can you put a list to see it regularly? What about the bathroom mirror or refrigerator door ?!

6. Read them

They say it aloud at least once a day. Make a little tradition of this. Do it at the same time every day. This can be a good time to visualize your success (2). The more you think about your decisions, the more you will focus on them.

7. Take action

Ask yourself at the beginning of the day what one action you can take today to keep your progress is? Moving forward one step at a time is the next step.

8. Hire an expert.

An expert can help you overcome blocks, improve your approach to tasks or improve your spirits. Depending on your decision, the specialist can be a trainer, a personal trainer, a nutritionist, or an organizer.

9. Use confession

Create a positive statement that you can use when the voice in your head tells you that you will not gain anything you are fighting for. When you see that the voice tells you you can't do it, enter your confirmation.

10. Reward yourself

Read your favorite book for 15-30 minutes. Give yourself something special when you skip a milestone or survive a tough time in your journey to find your decision. Welcome success along the way and feel good about what you have done, and always be happy with your decision.
