It is believed that a female who lived in this Chawl fell in a well while she went to fill water from the well and drowned. Many people claimed to have seen this woman's ghost, but she seems harmless as she disappears after some time. This Chawl is likewise haunted by the spirit of a watchman. He is regularly noticed close to one of the trees at night and is seen guarding the area.

2) Aarey Colony Road
A woman is often seen at night on the scenic street of the colony wearing a white sari and carrying a child. However, if you don’t stop your car for her, you will find her chasing you the next time you glance at your rear-view mirror. The lady will try and flag down your car, and in case you stop and allow her to get in your car, you may get a heart attack when she unexpectedly vanishes out of your car backseat.

3) Sanjay Gandhi National Park
The ghost haunting the lovely trails of SGNP is stated to be of a hitchhiker. Many have also referred to seeing the ghost of a woman in white on those trails. 4) St John the Baptist Church, Andheri
This church abandoned by the Portuguese after an epidemic in 1840 is haunted with the aid of the spirit of a bride. In the 1970s, people decided to exorcism the ghost. 6) Tower of Silence, Malabar Hills
The Tower of Silence, located in the Malabar Hills, is built by Parsis for excarnation. It is said that strange sounds are heard from inside, and passers-by have also reported "an eerie presence" while crossing the area.

7) Road to Marve and Madh Islands
The road to Marve and Madh Islands is stated to be haunted. The story is going on that a 20 years girl who called Salma set herself afire in 1989. A temple of Lord Hanuman has been constructed in this area to protect themselves from ghost harm, but still, in the night, the woman ghost has been seen fire running into a peepal tree.

9) Vrindavan Society, Thane
Vrindavan Society is a very posh area in Mumbai City, but it is also said to be quite a haunted place. The residents of this society will tell you stories about this place. It is said that a man once committed suicide from one of the buildings of this society, and since then, his soul has been haunting the residents. The stories of believed night guards are tightly slapped as they are found sleeping on duty by the spirit, and many residents have also seen strange things happening in the society.

Those chambers had been one of the places destroyed by the bomb blasts in 1993, and many people have been killed.
