1. There are many types of cards to choose from. The design you need or sounds very interesting to you. Try a birthday, birthday, children's cards, wedding, empathy, holiday, or recovery.
2. To start designing you will need good paper. Look at pre-wrapped cards or use card stock and fold your own. Using a bone folder is helpful here because it makes for a very good clean wrap. There are a few sizes to choose from, make sure you have an envelope that fits or is ready to be made. There are many templates for this type of item.
3. Next select the sticker or rubber stamp on the front of the card. When using stamps, try different colored stamps until you find the design and color you like. You can add stickers or pictures stamped on another piece of paper to create a more enjoyable design. Try using a paper pattern with a clear and consistent pattern in this step.
4. There are decorations you can use to apply a stamp or sticker. This tends to be larger and adds a lot to your card design.
5. Make sure you have the right glue. Carefully consider the glue that you want to use. Glue works well on heavy objects but will shrink many papers. Dots and stripes of glue are helpful in many gluing designs. I really like the "heavy" glue stick on this label, it fits almost any paper and dries smooth and clear.
6. Make up the following words. Think about what you want to say about the card. Do you want a greeting or a message inside or on the front of the card? You can use rubber stamps for this, stickers or computer-made greetings. There are so many fonts available that each card may be different.
7. Put your design on the card before attaching the different elements. Check to make sure everything fits and that you like the design. Attach everything to the floor and make sure all pieces are secure.
8. Now look at the inside of your card. If you are going to send a message consider the layout on another page to match the design on the front of your card. Attach these pieces to the inside of the card.
9. Look at the whole card now. Are you happy with the design? Does it need something like colorful buttons or buttons? Is there any part of the design that looks good with color, colored pencils, chalk, or watercolors?
10. I believe the card is not finished until the fiber is inserted, inside and out. To match the colors from the design, take two or three strands of connecting ribbon, string, metal cord, or string and tie a knot. Cut out the ends so that they look the way you want them to. Attach it with your glue gun and you're done with the card. Envelope, e, please! The last touch in your design adorns the envelope to match the card. Use your markers, chalk, stickers, and stamps to create a beautiful envelope like what's inside !!
