Hydration Drink Tablets – Electrolytes
Hydration is essential, whether you’re running a 5k marathon, swimming laps, or just somebody trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Electrolyte drinks are a great alternative to sports drinks such as Lucozade, high in sugar and carbs (electrolyte drinks are also much cheaper).
These drinks are perfect for consumption during workouts or sports activities to replenish electrolytes lost through sweat. If you use electrolyte tablets, you’ll notice a big difference. Electrolytes help maintain fluid balance, prevent cramping, and aid in efficient muscle performance and mental focus.
I keep a tube of these in my gym bag, and when it comes time for a workout, I simply drop one tablet into a bottle of water to make a low-calorie sports drink. All ingredients used are clean (gluten-free, non-GMO sourced, vegan and safe for clean sport), and they come in a variety of flavors such as orange, berry, and citrus fruit.
A consistent water intake throughout the day is the easiest way to start living a healthier lifestyle, and these tablets help someone do just that. These electrolytes are my secret weapon to a great workout. If you live in the US, check out Nuun Electrolytes, and if you live in the UK or Europe, try High5 Zero tablets instead.
This drink will help anyone that exercises stay hydrated and focused, as well as improve recovery. Perfect for athletes and a must-have for anyone serious about their fitness and recovery.

Stability / Exercise Ball
These exercise balls, also known as stability balls, are one of the most popular and versatile pieces of fitness equipment available today. They’re affordable, lightweight, and perfect for use at home to stretch or for daily exercise as part of a home gym.
The stability ball is designed to tone muscles, build functional strength, and improve cardio endurance and balance – all in the comfort and convenience of your own home. These fitness balls can also help minimize lower back pain and correct posture.
Our pick is the Dyna Pro exercise ball. This stability ball is made of PVC with a matte surface, making it easy to hold without slipping, even with profuse sweat. The ball is burst-resistant and can take stress weight up to 2000 pounds while delivering stable support.
The ball is available in a variety of sizes for safety and added comfort. It comes with a pump to help the user get set up in no time. If you’re looking for some exercise kit to keep at home, and you don’t want to spend too much, this ball, along with resistant bands (see below), will give any fitness fantastic an excellent foundation for home gym.

Resistance Band Set
The Black Mountain resistance bands are simple, compact, and easy to use, making them great for home use as well as on the road when you can’t get to the gym. This exercise band set was designed to bring a gym quality product to your home (or hotel) at an affordable price.
What you have with this product is a gym in a bag. With the resistance band set, it’s easy to perform exercises that target biceps, triceps, chest, back, core and legs… the possibilities are endless! If you find there isn’t enough resistance using any one individual band, then all you do is combine a couple of rounds to increase the resistance! These bands are highly adaptable, making them ideal for resistance training or all-around cardio circuit workouts.
For the price, you won’t find any better way to spend $30 (which is less than a month’s gym membership) on your health and fitness. You don’t need much room to do the exercises, and the bands come with a handy bag to store them and an exercise book. These bands come with handles, it’s almost like using a cable machine at the gym, and it’s straightforward to switch positioning or add bars thanks to the quick release clips.

Foam Grid Roller
Using a foam roller, such as Trigger Point GRID, can help decrease muscle and joint pain following workouts, increase circulation and flexibility and improve range of motion when recovering from an injury.
Professional quality and the high-density foam roller are excellent for stretching and help alleviate joint, back, and neck pains. An overlooked workout tool, this is an absolute must for those who regularly participate in sports or exercise.
This is a high-quality roller that will last for many years to come. It has been a great addition to my gym gear, and I always finish my workout with this. It’s a compact design that fits nicely in a bag and can be taken anywhere. The roller is also great for stretching after long drives or flights.

Blender with Travel Sport Bottle
If you’re looking for a gift that someone will use daily, a blender is a great choice. These small blenders have no problem powering fruit and vegetables for smoothies or mixing up protein shakes.
Before purchasing the Epica blender, I had already gone through a couple of other blenders, which couldn’t stand up to the use I put them through. After several months, this blender is yet to fail me.
It’s a great blender at a budget price. Perfect for mixing my morning smoothie and post-workout shake. After blending my ingredients of Banana, Kale, Watermelon, and Coconut Water (tastes better than it sounds), I grab the bottle, and I’m ready for the day.
The Epica blender is a personal-sized blender and sports bottle in one that is perfect for those that lead an active, fast-paced lifestyle. Quick, convenient, and easy to use. This is a must-have blender for those that try and lead a healthy life.

Heart Rate Monitor
Today, the fitness market is flooded with complicated workout trackers, which are gimmicks and unnecessary. The Polar M400 stands out for its simplicity, giving users everything they need and nothing they don’t.
It’s easy to use, and it accurately tracks distance, heart rate, and calories burned. It also has a 24/7 activity tracker, giving you an accurate measure of your overall activity level throughout the day, including sleep patterns and quality of sleep. Polar devices are known for their heart rate accuracy, and the M400 continues to deliver in the company’s tradition of excellence.
The Polar H7 strap is comfortable to wear and stays in place, which you want when trying to get an accurate reading. Combined, the Polar M400 and H7 strap come in at just under 200 bucks.
I believe this is one of the best value (cost vs. value) fitness devices on the market and a wonderful gift for not only runners but anyone that regularly exercises. If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative, then have a look at the Polar A300 heart rate monitor instead.

Wireless Headphones
Perfect for those that listen to music to keep focused, pump them up, or even relax during workouts.
Like most people, I used to own corded headphones, and they would just get in the way. I would be on a rowing machine, and the cord would occasionally get trapped. When doing sit-ups, my phone would slip out of my pocket, and the headphones pull on my ears and become disconnected. The best solution is to get headphones without a cord that gets in the way.
My top pick is the Phaiser BHS-730 headphones. They’re affordable, produce great audio, isolate noise, are comfortable to wear and sweat proof making them perfect for gym and exercise use. These wireless headphones are fabulous and let you exercise without care. They last up to eight hours and sound even better than wired headphones.
To me, they’re the best value sports headphones on the market today. Yes, you can go and buy more expensive headphones, but honestly, at less than $50 (at the time of writing this article), these headphones by Phaiser are more than up to the job. They also come with a sweat-proof money-back guarantee (whatever that means).

The 4-Hour Body by Tim Ferris (Book)
Whether you’re buying for someone who is looking to shift a few pounds or someone who is an advanced athlete, then, either way, this is a great read. The result of 4-Hour Body is an obsessive quest, make too much spanning more than a decade to understand the whole human body and identify the fitness hacks that work.
The book contains interviews with hundreds of elite athletes, dozens of MDs, and thousands of hours of jaw-dropping personal experimentation. There are more than 50 topics covered in the book, all with real-world experiments, with many of these experiments including more than 200 test subjects.
A word of caution, this isn’t your average book. Many authors sit down and write a book on physical fitness and exercise, but they fail to give the reader anything of value, and the book ends up on the shelf, never to read again. The opposite can be said for a 4-Hour body.
The book is packed with great information and well structured, giving the reader the option to tackle the whole book in one sitting or a chapter.
Ferris passes on his decade of experience and lessons in this comprehensive guide to achieving the ultimate body. I have read this book around five times now and always take something away from it.
If you’re looking for a good book about health and fitness, which is easy to read, then this is it. Also, if you know someone who has read and enjoyed the 4-hour workweek (also written by Ferris), this will make a great gift.
