Most foreigners think only arranged marriage happens in India. Though most marriages are arranged by parents, there is currently a huge rise in love marriages.

Indians worship cows, and so many foreigners believe all Indians are vegetarians. Most Indians eat chicken, mutton, and even beef and have a wide variety of varied vegetarian dishes.

Most foreigners believe that all Indians are spiritual. The spiritual practice done in Western countries is entirely different from the ones followed in India. ‘Namaste’ is actually a greeting word used by Hindi-talking people.
