1. Football
This game involves extensive running and can best be played on the playground.
How to play:-
Divide the players into two 11-person teams.
One player from each team is the goalkeeper.
Once the whistle is blown, each team must try to hit the ball at the gate assigned.
The time limit for this game is 90 minutes, and the team that scores the most goals wins.
Basic rules such as not touching the ball on hand and not hitting opponents when trying to get the ball must be enforced.
2. Running race
This evergreen running game is perfect for kids to build endurance and strength.
How to play:-
Mark the starting and ending points of the playground according to the age of the children.
Ask all the children to line up at the starting point and encourage them to start running with a whistle beat.
Set the timer and blow the whistle.
The child who crosses the finish line first is the winner.
3. Water polo Dodgeball
This is a fun running game that kids can enjoy during the summer. But be prepared to deal with water-soaked children later.
How to play:-
Buy medium-sized balloons, fill them with water and attach the ends.
Divide the children into two groups; tell them to cover their faces during the game and not hit each other in the face.
Each team must choose a captain. Flip the coin to decide which team will play and who will dodge.
The team that chooses the player must throw the water balls at the opposing team and dodge. This continues until all players are out at the set time.
Later, evaders become players.
Time for each play and dodging session; the team that manages to beat all the opposing players in a short time wins.
4. Seven tiles
Introduce this traditional Indian game to your child the next day of play.
How to play:-
You can either buy a set from a sporting goods store or use seven different sizes of wood/plastic blocks.
It would help if you also had a soft and light rubber ball that won’t hurt anyone.
Divide the children into two groups; one team has players and the other seekers.
The team of players places seven blocks (from largest to smallest) in the middle of the playground.
Applicants then hit the ball on the stack so that the blocks are scattered across the playground.
Players then try to collect the blocks and stack them in the same order in the same place, while the applicants try to prevent it by hitting the ball (who are trying to stack) with the ball.
The player who hits the ball is out of the game.
The team that manages to do its job first wins.
5. Crocodile, crocodile, what color do you want
This crocodile takes its color very seriously.
How to play:-
In this game, one player is a crocodile and stands apart from the rest of the group.
Other children need to ask, "Crocodile, crocodile, what color do you want?"
The crocodile then selects the color around them and says out loud, "I want a" color name. "
All children must run and catch all objects of a certain color before the crocodile grabs them.
If a crocodile catches them, they become a crocodile.
6. One-legged tag
Tag is a famous kid running game and one game that can have several variations. Here is one such variation.

The rest of the kids ran around the playground as the seeker tries to mark each player by jumping with one leg.
The game that receives the entry becomes the applicant for the next game.
7. Invert the cone
In this running competition, children not only run but also exercise.
How to play:-
Mark the start and finish lines to demarcate the race track to the playground.
Place the plastic cones vertically along the race track.
Children must drive on the racetrack by turning the cones.
Time for every child; the one who completes the race in the least time wins.
8. Activity competition
This is not your typical message contest. Here, children need to be quick and coordinate with each other to win the competition.
How to play:-
Mark the start and endpoint for the message contest.
Between the start and endpoints, set certain activities that children must complete before moving on.
The operations must be simple and can be performed in a minute. For example, wearing a hat, writing the names of your teammates on a blackboard, arranging a simple puzzle game, spinning a hula hoop, etc.
Each team member must run on the race track and complete the activities in between.
The team that completes it in a short time wins.
9. Chain Building
This is another interesting running game for kids where the seeker gets to build a search chain.
How to play:-
