It also increases expenses if they order food online daily. So to maintain good health and at the same time to enjoy outside food may order every month.
It is found that most of the respondents order through a mobile app, and only a few order through a web browser. This could be due to the convenience of ordering through a mobile application than through the website or any web browser. And also, get to know about various offers and discounts only if they have a mobile application of the particular online food service company.
80% of the respondents are satisfied with the services rendered by online food ordering. This shows that only a few are not satisfied with the services being rendered by online food ordering. It could be due to the lack of awareness regarding various valuable services of online food ordering services.
It is found that delay in delivery of food has been considered the most important problem the consumers face. This might be because of busy restaurants and traffic jams which take so much time to deliver the order.
It is revealed that 8 percent of the respondents order breakfast, 33 percent order lunch, 23 percent order tea time snacks, and 36 percent of the respondents order dinner. So it's interpreted that people usually order food at night time. The majority of the respondents order nighttime meals. It could be due to the tiredness they feel after returning from work. Because they might all be working people who get tired and dont have the energy to cook after doing hours of work at the office.
It is revealed that 36 percent of the respondents spend more than 150 but less than 500 per time. 11 percent of the respondents spend less than 150, 36 percent spend less than 250, 36 spend less than 500, and 17 percent spend more than 500. The majority of the respondents spend more than 150 but less than 500. It could be because they may feel that spending more than 500 per order is not worthy, or they may be ordered for a one person alone.
There is an association between marital status and money spent per order. The association shows that unmarried spend less than married. This could be because as they are unmarried, so they order for a single person alone. Thus it costs less. On the other hand, married people have to order for the entire family, which costs more than single people.
Customers felt that online food ordering services lack timely delivery of service; thus, the online food delivery app can have more tie-ups with those restaurants that process their order more quickly, which will result in quick delivery of services.
The majority of the customers felt that the delivery man does not respond effectively; thus, it can appoint more responsive and efficient employees.
