Top 10 Fastest Car in the World

10. Koenigsegg Gemera :      (249 mph)

The Gemera, the third entry on our list from the Swedish Koenigsegg, is notable for its status. It has three electric motors and a combustion engine, making it a "small" hybrid of almost 16.4 feet. The novelty does not end there: There is no gearbox on it. The Koenigsegg Gemera is unlike the others in every way; no wonder its Swedish name means "to rule".

09. Mclaren Speedtail :        (250 mph)

With the speed tail, which has a top speed of more than 249 mph, McLaren enters the competition for the fastest car. It was created to perform and stun, taking inspiration from the F1. Furthermore, it has central driving, which is a minor but unique addition.

08. Rimac Nevera : (256 mph)

It would be an understatement to say that the Rimac Nevera electrifies the road. The electric hypercar, the second vehicle from the Croatian firm, is changing the way cars are made. It may be small, but despite its size, it has a powerful 1,914 horsepower. This remarkable vehicle accelerates from 0 to 186 mph in under 10 seconds and features four electric motors.

07. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport : (268 mph)

The same way it breaks records, Bugatti makes automobiles. The book. Driver Pierre-Henri Raphanel accomplished this accomplishment in the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, and it was recognized by Guinness World Records. Many vehicle enthusiasts' hearts have raced in response to this dynamic jewel of power.

06. Hennessy Venom F5 : (272 mph)

Even though it is still only in testing, it already makes astonishing performance promises. It hit 272 mph in March 2022. The manufacturer wants to go faster than 310 mph and does not plan to stop there. With 1,917 horsepower and a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8, it should be able to break the previous record.

05. Koenigsegg Agera RS : (278 mph)

Another exceptional supercar from the Swedish manufacturer has put itself back on the list. It features a similar engine but around 500 fewer horsepower. It nevertheless performs well, going from 0 to 250 mph and back to 0 in 36.44 seconds. Amazing.

04. SSC Tautara : (283 mph)

When the SSC Tuatara was introduced as "the car that goes at more than 500 km/h" in 2020, it caused quite a stir (532 precisely, or 331 mph). A few months later, the maker reversed course and acknowledged that the Tuatara had never topped 500 km/h (310 mph). Last but not least, the "little sister" of the SSC Ultimate Aero travels at 283 mph, which is already amazing!

03. Koenigsegg Jesko Absolute : (300 mph)

The fastest Koenigsegg, the Swedish supercar, was meant to defy gravity and outrun the Bugatti Chiron. It generates 1,600 horsepower with a 5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which is 100 more than the "original" Jesko. And it's likely that Christian von Koenigsegg hasn't finished surprising us.

02. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ :

What vehicle is the world's fastest? At the very least, the fastest vehicle with a track record? The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ is what it is. The Super Sport 300+, an even more powerful variation of the original Bugatti Chiron, is the first supercar to reach speeds of more than 300 mph.

01. Bugatti Bolide : (+310 mph) [ESTIMATED]

The world's (likely) the quickest automobile is French. Of course, the manufacturer's claimed top speeds of 310 mph are purely theoretical at this time. The prototype is encouraging, and there is little question that this speed can be reached, given Bugatti's history and propensity for building extreme vehicles. In any case, the answer will be available in 2024, the year that the Bugatti Bolide is built. The Bolide has already won the Grand Prix for the most beautiful hypercar of 2021, as we wait for it to demonstrate its abilities on the road.
