2) The Taj Mahal, India
The Taj Mahal is a white marble mausoleum located on the banks of river Yamuna. Construction began in 1632, and took twenty-two years to complete. The Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal who died while giving birth to their 14th child. It is one of the most recognizable structures in India, and is considered one of the Eight Wonders of The World.
3) The Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China is a national symbol of China and one of its most significant cultural treasures. It stretches from Shanhaiguan in the east, to Lop Lake in the west, along an arc that roughly delineates the southern edge of Inner Mongolia. The total length is about 21,196 kilometres (13,170 mi). It remains the longest human-made structure ever built in terms of physical extent.
