1. Mehrangarh Fort, Rajasthan:

It was an important stronghold of the Rajput dynasty from the 7th century to the 16th century. The fort is characterized by its strong gateways, bastions, palaces, temples, forts, and reservoirs, which are among the unmatched specimens of Rajput architecture. There are seven entrances to this fort. The first entrance is known as the foot pole, followed by Bhairav Pol, Hanuman Pol, Ganesh Pol, Joli Pol, Laxman Pol, and finally the Ram Pol, built in 1459. The entrance located on the eastern side of the fort is called Suraj Pol. There are two famous reservoirs here, which are famous as Vijay Stambh and Rana Kumbha.
5. Red Fort, Delhi:

6. Sonar Fort, Rajasthan:

Sonar Fort is located in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The specialty of this fort is that as soon as the sun's rays fall on it in the morning. It shines like gold. That's why it is called Sonar Fort. By the way, it is situated in the middle of the desert; it is also called the fort of the desert. It is one of the largest forts in the world and has 99 strongholds all around it. Of these, 92 bastions were built between 1633 and 1647. The main attraction of Jaisalmer Fort is the first entrance to the fort located at Gopa Chowk. This huge and grand gate is a splendid specimen of stone carving. 7. Kangra Fort, Himachal Pradesh:

This fort is in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. The royal family of Kangra built it. It is one of the oldest forts globally and is counted among the oldest forts in the country. It is also known as Nagarkot or Kot Kangra. The Kangra Fort, situated on the banks of the Banganga and Manjhi rivers, was the capital of the 'Trigatara' land of King Bhumchand, the ancestor of the lineage of 500 kings. This fort was so famous for its wealth that Mohammad Ghazni, during his fourth campaign in India, defeated Punjab and reached Kangra directly in 1009 AD.
8. Golconda Fort, Hyderabad:

This fort, built at a distance of 11 km from Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, was built by the Kakatiya rulers. It is known for its grandeur and beautiful structure. Even today, thousands of tourists can be seen gathering here. The King of Warangal built this fort 14th century. Later it passed into the hands of the Bahmani kings and came to be known as Muhammadnagar. In 1512 AD, it came under the authority of the Qutb Shahi kings. Then in 1687 AD, Aurangzeb won it. Built on a hill of granite, this fort has a total of eight doors. A three-mile long strong stone wall surrounds itl. Musi River flows to its south. 9. Sindhudurg, Maharashtra:

It is located south of Mumbai in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. Sindhudurg is built on a small island in the middle of the sea.
10. Kumbhalgarh Fort, Rajasthan:

The Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajsamand, Rajasthan, was built by Maharana Kumbha. There are two specialties of this fort - first, the wall of this fort is the second largest wall in the world, which is 36 km long and 15 feet wide, so wide that five horses can run on it simultaneously. The second feature is more than 360 temples inside this fort, out of which 300 are ancient Jain temples, and the rest are Hindu temples.
