The 425-meter (1,394-foot) Marina 101, the fourth-tallest residential skyscraper in the world, is the second-tallest structure in Dubai.[3] Most of Dubai's skyscrapers are grouped together in three distinct areas. The first area to grow was along E 11 Road.
Dubai has more completed and topped-out buildings than any other city in the world, with eighteen of them rising to a minimum height of 300 metres (984 feet).[4] There are seventy-three finished, topped-out structures in Dubai that are at least 200 metres (656 feet) tall. Dubai boasts the tallest skyline in the Middle East and the world, measured by the average height of the ten tallest finished skyscrapers.[5] In 2012, Dubai's skyline was rated seventh in the world, with 248 structures reaching a minimum height of 100 metres (330 feet).[6]
