The Beatles

I first heard of the Beatles when I was 9 years old. Then I spent most of my vacation in Merseyside, and a girl from the area gave me a bad publicity photo with her name engraved on the back. They came to America in 1962 or 63. The picture is dark and does not look down. Ringo returned as easily as if the Beatles hadn't sold their hair yet. I do not care; You are a group for me. The funny thing is that Liverpool's parents and friends are also curious and proud of this local group. Previously, a show businessman from the north of England was a comedian. The Beatles recorded for Parlophone, known for its comedy label.

I'm the right age to meet them. My experience - taking all the pictures, saving money on singles and EPs, and recording them for local news shows - is repeated worldwide. This is the first time this has happened on such a scale. But it's not about numbers.

Every recording was a surprise while it came out. Compared to rabid R&B evangelists just like the Rolling Stones, the Beatles arrived sounding like nothing else. They had already absorbed Buddy Holly, the Everly Brothers, and Chuck Berry; however, they also wrote their personal songs. They made you write your personal material expected instead of exceptional.

John Lennon and Paul McCartney are outstanding composers. McCartney was a true virtuoso musician. George Harrison is not a guitarist who plays rough and unpredictable solos, but he can sing melodies almost any break. Best of all, it always matches your preferences. Ringo Starr plays drums with a unique feel that no one can imitate, even if many good drummers try and fail. Most importantly, John and Paul are fantastic singers.

Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison have very high writing standards. Imagine playing a song like “Ask Me Why” or “The Things We Said Today” as Party B. This recording is an event, not just an album announcement.

Then they really start to grow. From simple love lyrics to adult stories like Norwegian Forest, he talks about the tart side of love and ideas that are more significant than one would expect from hilarious pop lyrics.

They were almost the first group to change the auditory aspect of their recording, and it wasn't just a gimmick. Before The Beatles, they wore rap coats, experimenting with recordings in the 1950s, but no rocker deliberately lost balance. In a low voice before the loud song in "Strawberry Fields Forever." The license granted to everyone from Motown to Jimi Hendrix cannot be overstated.

My favorite albums are Rubber Soul and Revolver. Raise the revolver, and you will notice something else. Damn, in the back photo, you are wearing sunglasses, and you don’t even look at the camera. And the music is so strange but so alive. If I had to pick my favorite song from this album, it would be “And Your Birds Can Sing” ... No, “Girl” ... No, “For Nothing,” ... and so on.

Her farewell album Let It Be has a beautiful jagged song. I remember going to Leicester Square and watching the 1970 film Let It Be. I left with sadness.

The word "Beatlesque" has been in the dictionary for a long time. I could listen to it all day on the Prince Around the World album. From a song by Ron Sexsmith; From a song by Harry Nilsson. You can hear Kurt Cobain listening to The Beatles and mixing funk and metal.

I wrote some songs with Paul McCartney and gave him some concerts. During rehearsal, I sang harmony to Ricky Nelson's song, and Paul sang the song "All My Loving." "Could we make the harmony line second?" And he said, "Yes, try it." I was only 35 years old to learn this role. It was an emotional show that only the crew and other artists have experienced.

The show is completely different. When he sang the opening line - "I will close my eyes and kiss you" - the reaction from the audience was so strong that the song exploded. Very interesting but confusing. Perhaps now I understand one of the reasons the Beatles had to leave. The song is no longer theirs. They belong to everyone.
