Top 10 Artificial Intelligence Technologies

Top 10 AI Technologies:

There are a lot of things happening in the world of artificial intelligence (AI) today, but if you want to understand why it matters what technologies are being used and what impact is made on your life, we have compiled a list that covers all the big players in AI. These include Google DeepMind, IBM Watson, Microsoft Cortana, Twitter/Slack, Alexa / Google Assistant, Intel Core processors, AWS Lambda, Edge AI (AWS or Azure), Auto ML and many more.

Amazon Web Services (AWS):

Amazon web services (AWS), which was initially launched as an online bookstore in 1994, has since grown into becoming one of the biggest cloud computing companies globally with tens of billions of dollars invested by its clients worldwide; most notably through its Alexa voice service. It is currently offering various data, analytics, and AI services for their clients, this company is constantly working on incorporating deep learning (DL) and other AI technologies into their system to offer customers a better customer experience, while also solving large-scale issues across industries.

Facebook Messenger:

Facebook Messenger has become quite popular recently because of the way it can help people stay connected, interact and learn new stuff with others. And if you aren’t already using this app, you need to start now so as not to miss out on the latest updates. Apart from chatting with friends and family, you can also use this platform for sharing content about sports, movies, music, science fiction, education, gaming, and much more. Aside from having access to the millions of existing users already on the platform and also being able to improve their performance, there will be several feature additions coming later this year that would make this application very user-friendly, hence increasing its usage across the globe.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP):

The second-largest search engine and AI technology provider in the market, Google recently announced its plan to add more machine learning capabilities to GCP. From image recognition to speech generation and natural language processing, this cloud vendor’s goal is to develop these products up to deep neural networks. As stated before, Google is currently working on improving its current product line by adding even more features. Google has been investing heavily in improving its infrastructure over the years to meet specific requirements and goals for itself. A major focus in recent times has been making sure that GCP reflects the needs of business rather than creating personalized platforms meant for only individual needs. The idea is to create something that benefits both the business and the end users on the internet, so we see more developers working with GCP to continue expanding its range of services. It is a good opportunity for them to use the resources available to increase their skillset and knowledge without needing any formal training.

Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (AIRI)

As of 2022 February, Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (AIRI) is an acronym used to describe researchers who dedicate themselves to developing artificial intelligence systems, tools, applications, technologies, and methods that can be applied to solve real-world problems. This institute collaborates closely with governments and organizations across different parts of the world to push for solutions such as self-driving cars, drones, driverless vehicles, intelligent chatbots, and robotics to achieve greater equality or accessibility to our society. Through collaboration, developments can happen swiftly which helps the development of new AI technologies. So far, research centers like AIRI receive funding from government entities and non-governmental organizations such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). AIRI also receives money from private entities. They also support each other in the process and encourage individuals to work towards common goals. For example, AIRI research is being done on the creation of virtual assistants that can understand human interactions, social media analytics, and even weather forecasting. With this kind of technological advancement, societies are expected to thrive and grow further and faster than ever.

Numenta Labs

This Australian startup is involved in providing advanced AI techniques, algorithms, and computer vision systems that enable professionals and students to work in fields where accuracy and speed are essential. Their main goal is to make the use of big datasets easier and cheaper. You won’t need to invest huge amounts of capital or time in developing complex models to do the same job faster and more effectively than humans. Plus, since their computational processes run on open-source software, everyone can contribute to the project ensuring that everyone wins.

Open AI

Open AI is a nonprofit organization founded by two neuroscientists at Stanford University, Timnit Gebru and Erica Russell in 2011. An initiative that aims to make advances in AI and machine learning by encouraging academic teams around the world to collaborate on code, teaching approaches, research, and outreach programs as well as sharing information, best practices, and community-building opportunities. In terms of projects, it is primarily focused on applying reinforcement learning to Atari games as part of the ‘OpenAI Five’. Recently, the organization released AlphaGo Zero, a state-of-the-art version of the game Go developed with an entirely new architecture and algorithm. With all these achievements, the team hopes to inspire more developers to join forces and build applications using the powerful approach that enables computers to learn how to play human languages, objects, and scenes that don’t yet exist.

Nvidia Jetson Xp 2

An update to the Jetson Xavier series, the newest addition under Project Tango, which is geared toward empowering devices like smartphones, wearables, and mobile displays to act just as capable as humans. Just like the previous model, the device offers multiple connectivity options including Wi-Fi 5E, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, Ultra Wide Band (UWB), NFC, and GNSS. However, instead of standard sensors, the XP 2 supports custom sensor arrays like ECOG and 3D cameras with AR capabilities. Additionally, the XP 2 comes equipped with Lidar, HD Radio, and Vision modules that allow users to capture detailed 3D imagery using an array of sensors.

Dell EMC PowerEdge R750

Dell introduced the PowerEdge laptop series back in 2007 and until 2009 all power-sensitive laptops were powered by old lithium batteries, which eventually led to long battery life and limited portability. To address the issue, Dell decided to redesign its PowerEdge line and go ahead with hybrid designs that combine conventional design principles with cutting-edge silicon wafers. While these designs still rely on traditional components such as hard drives and RAMs, Dell took advantage of advancements in integrated circuits (ICs), enabling power devices to function as either desktop PCs or thin and light notebook machines. On top of that, Dell added built-in security features like BIOS encryption, fingerprint reader, PIN pad lock, etc., among others. The introduction of this updated model marks all the progress in hardware design and the evolution of embedded computing to include a lightweight form factor for general use in a wide range of environments.

Tesla Inc. Teslas

Tesla electric cars have taken over the automotive industry in 2020. Although the popularity of electric cars has remained high over the past few years, Tesla’s dominance within the sector is undeniable due to its unique design and the availability of affordable prices.
