TOP 1 LAST LEAF STORY

INTRODUCTION;

             Many a cherished hope has vanished into thin air, as the hoppers have not put their soul into their hopes. Unless we pursue our ambitions with our soul and heart, it is impossible to achieve the aspired goals. A masterpiece is not a stroke of luck; It is the fruit of toil and committed hard work.

  SUE AND JOHNS;

               sue and johns were friends, who shared a studio at the top of a squatter three-story brick house. They aspired t become great artists. Hence, johns was affected by pneumonia, a deadly disease.

  THE LEAVES OF IVY AND JOHNS'S FANCY;

                 When sue took her friend to the doctor, he diagnosed johns and found her in love with death. Johns lost her hopes of recovering from her illness. She started counting the falling leaves of the ivy plant outside the window. She believed that when the last leaf fell, She also would fall. All sues efforts to develop positive thinking in johns failed.

  OLD BERMAN;

                Berman was a sixty-year-old painter, Who lived downstairs. As he had falied as an artist, He had stopped using the brush. His one aim in life was to draw a masterpiece. He was earning a little by posing as a model to the other artists and spent the money on drinking.   

 THE BOLD GESTURE OF   Mr.BERMAN;

                 When Mr. Berman heard about john's idiotic fancy, He wanted to do something to save her life. The night was severely cold. He picked up paint and a lantern, and went out. Dragging a ladder to the wall where the ivy was growing, he painfully climbed up. He found that  the last leaf too fallen. then he painted the fallen leaf on the brick wall exactly as the original one.'' Something has made the last leaf stay here to show me how wicked I was''.

THE LAST LEAF STILL ALIVE;

                  The next morning,johnsy was suprised to find the ripe yellow leaf still clinging on to the creeper. It brought a change in her mind. Suddenly she called sue and admitted that the last leaf which was still staying in the ivy motivated her to live. The next day, the doctor certified that johnsy was out of danger.

BERMAN'S MASTERPIECE;

                 The next day Mr.Berman was afflicted with pneumonia because he had exposed to the cold weather during the previous night. later he died in the hospital. sue, and her friend understood that it was berman who had painted the last leaf. Thus he had saved the life of an innocent girl.Berman's painting of the last leaf had become berman's masterpiece. '' Its berman's masterpiece he painted it there the night that the last leaf fell.
