Top 07 National Awards in India

1. Bharat Ratna

Bharat Ratna is the utmost gladiatorial award in India. It was pioneered in the spell 1954, and the first benefactresses of the Bharat Ratna were politicians. Rajagopalachari, booster Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, and scientistC.V. Raman.

The Bharat Ratna is conferred “ in recognition of exceptional service/ performance of the utmost order,” without distinction of race, occupation, position, or relations. Bharat Ratna can be awarded posthumously. Youngish Bharat Ratna's benefactress is cricketer Sachin Tendulkar who took the award at the age of 40 in the spell 2014. The oldest benefactress is social reformer Dhondo Keshav Karve, who took the award at 100 spells.

Following-India-born people have been conferred with Bharat Ratna.

Award composition a medallion is in the shape of a peepal sliver, a document inked by the President of India. There's no cash element in the award. The holders of the Bharat Ratna rank seventh in the Indian order of priority.

The Bharat Ratna medallions are produced at Alipore Mint, Kolkata, West Bengal.

 

2. Param Vir Charka

Param Vir Chakra (PVC PVC) is the uppermost gallantry award in India conferred for displaying distinguished acts of valor during wartime. It was established on 26 January 1950, and the first almoner was Major Somnath Sharma.

So far, 21 troopers and officers of our unprepared forces have been recognized with Param Vir Chakra — of these, 20 have been from the Indian Army and only one from the Indian Air Force.

Indian Navy has nowise been awarded a PVC.

 

As per a convention in the Indian Army, when a PVC favorite appears in the regular outfit – everybody would praise him, including the Army Chief, in the Army irrespective of rank. There is, notwithstanding, no legal provision exists for this.

Award composition A roundabout award order on a high-sounding strip. A cash allowance is given to awardees under the rank of helpmeet and, in some cases, a cash award.

 

3. Ashok Chakra

Ashok Chakra is the hostilities peer of the Param Vir Chakra. It's the uppermost hostilities gaiety award for showing most conspicuous gaiety or some daring or pre-eminent valor or constitution- offering other than in the face of the foe.

Award composition A indirect gold gilt medallion on a 32 mm, dark green slip with a 2 mm central saffron stripe.

 

4. Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Dadasaheb Phalke awards are given every time at the National Film Awards observance.

The first person to be feted with the Dadasaheb Phalke award was actress Devika Rani in 1969.

Actors Prithviraj Kapoor (1971 1971) and Vinod Khanna (2017 2017) were awarded posthumously.

Award composition This award includes a Swarna Kamal medallion and a mantelet. The award also has a cash element of Rs 10,00,000

 

5. Jnanpith Award

Jnanpith Award is a major erudite honor in India. It was inaugurated by Bhartiya Jnanpith in 1961. This honor is given only to Indian freemen for their outstanding benefic

ence towards literature in any Indian languages included in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India and English.

The first donor of the Jnanpith Award was. Sankara Kurup won it for his compendium, Odakkuzhal, in the Malayalam language.

With eleven triumphs, the Hindi language authors have won the most number award.

Multifold people consider the Jnanpith Award to be the top erudite award in India. This award isn't a government award.

6. Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna

Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna is the top award in the field of sports in India. It was introduced in 1991-92 by the Government of India. The award is given to Indian sportspersons for their spectacular and paramount outstanding performance in sports over a period of four bits. 

The first Maecenas of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna was India’s Chess Grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand in the bit 1991-92.

The juvenile Maecenas of this award is the shooter and Olympic Gold Medalist Abhinav Bindra, who won it at 18 in 2001.

7. Dronacharya Award

Dronacharya Award is India ’s topmost sports piloting honor. The award is named after Drona, a character from the magnificent Mahabharata.

This award is given every bit by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. It was established in 1985, and the first angel was Bhalchandra Bhaskar Bhagwat (in Wrestling), Om Prakash Bhardwaj (in Boxing), andO.M. Nambiar (in Athletics).
