As the weather changes, your baby gets sick. Why does the child get sick, maybe it's because of the polluted air or because of that spoiled food, and maybe because of that polluted water? Whatever the reason, if we do not take any immediate measures for our children, then they will not be able to grow up. Good health is a very distant thing. Hence, you should take some precautions so that your child does not get sick so soon. And this changing weather does not affect it much. So if you want your child not to get sick again and again, you have to follow some precautions.
• First, teach your children about health hygiene. Keep your children clean and check their clothes, hair, and nails frequently. Good personal hygiene can boost your child's self-esteem, as well as keep them healthy.
• Encourage the child to wash his hands before touching anything himself. Because most germs are spread through hand contact. Regularly washing hands will prevent your child and others from getting sick.
• To prevent germs from spreading, the same advice goes for you too. Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your children.
• Keep your child hydrated. When kids are dehydrated, it becomes easier for germs to enter their bodies. Ensure your toddler drinks plenty of water throughout the day.
• Always give the child filtered water to drink. Drinking contaminated water can cause several health problems in children, and adults. These include both common water-borne illnesses like gastroenteritis, vomiting, and diarrhea, as well as serious ones like cholera and typhoid.
• The outside food is open, and germs attack it and spoil it. And I don't think packaged foods are safe from germs either. Hence, don't let children eat outside food. Try to make them eat home-cooked food only.
• If your child wants to eat cold foods, give them in the afternoon. Never give it in the morning or at night. Because the temperature of the atmosphere is less in the morning and at night. At such times, if your child eats something cold, he will be at risk of catching a cold.
• Get children vaccinated for every disease. This vaccination and other recommended childhood vaccines prevent many serious, life-threatening illnesses.
• Let children get enough sleep. Kids who regularly get an adequate amount of sleep have improved attention, behavior, learning, memory, and overall mental and physical health.
• Give children plenty of time to play. Because the more they move. This will increase their immunity.
• Take special care in cleaning your baby's diapers. Change diapers every four hours. Apply moisturizer or cream before putting on diapers. But sometimes the baby gets rashes even after applying both of them. Therefore, if you believe me, try applying coconut oil. After doing this, You can also diaper the baby continuously for a month. You won't get a single rash.
• Serve food to children in clean dishes. Clean dishes and utensils are important to family health. Bacteria grow on dishes and utensils that have not been thoroughly cleaned, rinsed, and dried.
• Do not let children share their food with others. Since germs can be easily spread through food, it is recommended that your child avoid sharing food.
• Encourage children to cover their mouths when coughing and sneezing. Covering coughs and sneezes and keeping hands clean can help prevent the spread of serious respiratory illnesses like influenza, respiratory synovial, virus (RSV), whooping cough, and COVID-19.
• Encourage children not to put their fingers in their mouths, ears, and nose. Since germs lie in wait on surfaces, having been left there by something or someone, that is infected. Our hands come in contact with the surface, and we then touch our ear, mouth, or nose, allowing the germs to enter our bodies, making us ill.
• Get plenty of exercises. Exercise boosts the immune system and helps our bodies to fight germs more effectively.
• Eat healthy foods. Whole foods such as fruits and vegetables provide us with the nutrients we need to build up our immune system and make our bodies work more effectively.
• Scientists have found that many potentially infectious bacteria, viruses, yeasts, and molds can survive on surfaces for a considerable amount of time. We know that germs are spreading through touching. Hence, clean baby items daily. For example, tables, keyboards, toys, etc. And also keep your house clean if possible.
