Thumbelina

once upon a time ,a powerful fairy wanted to have a little girl .she found a lovely flower still in bud. It was bright and fresh. She kissed it's purple and yellow petals. Straightaway the flower open ed.in the middle sat a tiny little girl, sweet and pretty 

2- she is as big as my thumb .l will call her Thumbelina, said the fairy.

At night,Thumbelina slept in the shell of a walnut. The blue petalsYb of violent were her mattress, and a rose petals her cove r.one night ,an old frog crept into the roo m.He thought that Thumbelina would make a good wife for his son. So he picked up the walnut shell in which Thumbelina lay asleep. He put her on a big water lily leaf in the middle of the stream. The frog was sure Thumbelina would not be able to escape
