Everyone has their definition of happiness. Some people can find contentment in insignificant things, like going for a morning walk outside, while others look for contentment in things that can't be touched and dedicate their daily activities to spiritual practices and self-education.
But what about ultimate happiness, which is a contented and peaceful state of mind?
In this brief conversation, I'd like to talk about ten possible explanations for why you haven't found happiness yet.
Cause #1 Misconceptions of life: About life: “If you can't live longer, live deeper.” Italian proverb: If you've ever felt like you were walking left and the world was spinning right, you might have a life misperception. It very well may be general, such as scrutinizing the presence of mind of governmental issues, morals or religion, or individual, similar to your place throughout everyday life, how would it be advisable for you to help to reside and how might you carry on with your life the most ideal way for your security and mental soundness.
Misconceptions about one's own life as well as the world around them are normal and bad for growth. However, a lack of awareness of these factors can trigger panic attacks and even some internal conflicts. As a result, you might feel the need to conceal, avoid, and eventually learn to ignore the questions about life that bother you rather than step out into the world and find the answers to them.
If you satisfy this craving, you run the risk of permanently closing the door to happiness.
Only through experience can one learn.
- If you have life misconceptions of any kind, you don't have enough experience. Furthermore, this is fine. One day no one knows everything. Because of this, you need to accept that you will always be a student and that this is okay.
Cause #2 Lack of emotions: We are all hurt. But if you get burned, you don't stop using fire forever, right?
Emotions shouldn't be any different from this.
A developed inability to respond emotionally to any external stimulus is known as scarce emotionality. Please do not confuse it with the complete lack of emotion, as seen, for instance, in sociopathic personality disorder. After all, there is a difference between suppressing one's feelings and simply not being able to feel them.
Even though it may initially sound or feel awkward, it would be helpful in this instance to begin analyzing and expressing emotions in particularly challenging situations.
Cause #3 Solitude: Being Alone May Sarton once said: "Self-poverty is the root of loneliness."
Unfortunately, loneliness is now a major problem. Too many people are alone, and even someone you might have seen in a group this morning may end up being alone at night.
Loneliness, on the other hand, stems from feelings of fear and dissociation, which is important to understand. It's a mental separation from the society that prevents one from connecting with others and opening up to the outside world.
Today, there are numerous offline and online groups where you can connect with others. However, going any further than that is crucial. Your objective is not to learn how to survive on your own, but rather how to integrate into society and become a more complete version of yourself.
Cause #4 Anxiety: "The scariest monsters are those that lurk within our souls." by Edgar A. Poe I've never met a person who didn't have to deal with some internal conflicts. The main contrast between these individuals was that a few dealt with their struggles under the surface and didn't let it remove their intrinsic right to be content.
Now, what exactly is internal conflict?
It indicates that the world you live in every day is just as real as the one you live in your head. Additionally, these worlds occasionally become contradictory. This makes us struggle under the surface that, in its turn, influences our profound, physical, and emotional well-being.
Additionally, responses to this internal conflict may vary greatly. Anxiety, panic attacks, grumpiness, irrational fear, compulsive overeating, and general unhappiness are all examples. Internal conflicts have the potential to wreak havoc on aspects of your life that are essential to inner peace and equilibrium if left unchecked.
In this instance, sharing your struggle with a trusted individual, attending therapy, or even starting a journal of awareness would be extremely helpful. The only thing you are not allowed to do is to ignore it, run from it, or force it out of your mind at any time. By doing this, you grant power to your internal conflicts over your happiness.
After all, you shouldn't waste your life fighting with yourself.
Cause #5 Problems with trust: Trust is the best evidence.
People who have trouble trusting others also have trouble being happy. Building strong relationships and becoming a part of society and the world both require trust, which is the most important thing. Which, in turn, plays a crucial role in your personal growth.
Trust is, of course, a risk that can be legitimately taken.
Cause#6 Lack of Attention: Pay attention, this might be fun.
I concur that the world is too vast to focus on everything. We need to get our priorities straight at that point. Your happiness is determined by every aspect of your attention. Therefore, if you observe that the majority of the things in your focus are negative, you might want to shift your focus to something more positive that will help you become happier and, as a result, more valuable to the world.
Cause #7 Intense fear: "Fear is the brain's way of saying that there is something important for you to overcome," this is the second reason for fear overdrive. Rachel Huber
Your ability to live a full life is threatened when fear takes over your emotions. However, the fact that the cause of the over arousal of fear is primarily connected to the internal conflict that was discussed earlier is the more significant point to make here. The inability to deal with emotions and comprehend the meaning of life and death are also contributing factors.
Fear of death is just as real as the fear of life, and the two are so intertwined that when one fears death, one also fears life.
I believe that fear gives us the ability to fly, despite its ambiguity. The only issue is learning how to do that. Furthermore, confronting your fears rather than running from them is essential for controlling overactive fear. Fear, like all emotions, has its underlying causes that will bring you to an internal conflict that has been brewing in your mind for years.
The conflict has the potential to amplify the emotion of fear, making it more difficult to manage.
You too can utilize a treatment, converse with somebody about your feelings of trepidation, or expound on them however much you can to shut everything down your feelings of dread, lastly perceive how little they are.
After all, regret lasts a lifetime while fear lasts a moment.
Cause #8 Family Connections: You might still be having trouble finding happiness because you don't have any family connections. The quality of your relationships with your parents and siblings, more than any other member of your family, is crucial to the development of a strong personality. Your family is like a shield that was designed to help you move around safely and with confidence throughout your life.
So, if you still have bad family relationships, it's time to sort things out and get closer to the people who have been there for you since the beginning of your life.
It might be hard, but don't let that stop you; your family is more important than anything else.
You may already have noticed that these ten factors are intertwined, and as is typically the case, one factor exacerbates the effects of another. Therefore, for happiness, it is critical to maintain a healthy equilibrium between your inner and outer worlds. You now have ten reasons to investigate and determine the reason why you have not yet experienced happiness.
Cause #9 Laziness: "Happiness is activity."by John Artisan Great. It is not a stagnant pool, but rather a flowing stream.
The vast majority of individuals who have trust issues, almost certain, carry on with their lives in stagnation. Stagnation is nothing more than an illusion of safety in which nothing moves. Nothing bad or good happens while things remain in limbo.
Why is it a hoax? Simple.
Nothing can remain unchanged. It either progresses (develops, evolves, or progresses) or regresses (regresses or declines).
Loneliness, disorganization, life misconceptions, excessive fear, and interpersonal conflict all contribute to stagnation. We decide to give ourselves a deception of insurance.
In this instance, it would be beneficial to treat stagnation as a routine and attempt to establish a positive routine in its place. Presently, each time there is an opportunity to get involved in life, rather than staying away from it, get straight into it.
Cause #10 Lawlessness: You have to at least try to be organized to function properly in society. You simply cannot enter the zone of happiness in such oppressive circumstances if your environment is filthy, your to-do list is always growing, and you never have time for anything.
Consistent happiness necessitates both personal and professional organization. I would suggest that if you are having trouble staying organized, you should stop relying on your memory and start writing everything down on paper. If you get into it, you should plan out your days, weeks, months, and even years.
