context__---- This is the story of Anchal Sharma, who came to know on his 32nd birthday that he is in the grip of breast cancer which is in its third stage but despite this he continued to feed hungry children. As a little girl, I imagined living a comfortable life with my family and friends forever. My family lived in a house inherited from Grandpa. My father was an auto rickshaw driver. My childhood was spent in the midst of economic problems. I am from Delhi. Hoping to improve his financial situation, my father sold his auto rickshaw one day and started driving a van in a school near the house. Our situation had improved a bit, but in the meantime he was fired from the job due to some reasons. Like a film story, the helpless and desperate father resorted to alcohol. My mother went to work in a factory, but after some time in layoffs, she was also fired. Those were very hard days,Those were very difficult days, when the days beyond me and my siblings had to depend on bread and sauce to satisfy their hunger. Due to the circumstances, my brother and I left school in eighth and ninth grades and started looking for employment. My brother started working as a mechanic in a motor garage and I started working as a receptionist in a trading firm at a salary of four thousand rupees. I was married due to pressure from relatives, but the marriage did not last long, as my in-laws harassed me mentally and physically for money. Within three months of marriage, I divorced my husband and focused on my job. Meanwhile, my mother suffered from a brain disease, as well as her father suffering from tuberculosis. I felt a lump forming near my breast,But, taking care of the mother and father, I forgot to take care of my health. I celebrated my 32nd birthday that day. When I came to the hospital to be examined for mild pain. So it turned out that I am in the grip of breast cancer, which is in its third stage. Chemotherapy was challenging for me, so I thought to myself, I have yet to live my life. One day I was going home, I saw children begging on the way. I refused to give them the money and offered food in return. After feeding those children, I started talking to them about their lives. After listening to his story, I realized that I should do something for him. The first idea was to give free food to these children every day, so that they do not stay hungry.Initially, I used to cook at home with the help of my mother and distribute it to the slum children. Soon many others offered assistance in helping these children. Meanwhile it took me eleven months to recover from cancer. I served food to those children during the most difficult times during my cancer journey. I felt that it gave me the strength to overcome the difficult times. I was not going to stop this work, so I started an NGO with the help of some people. It has become my objective to eradicate hunger and malnutrition of slum dwellers. There are countless people in Delhi who go hungry every day, outside slums and government hospitals. If we can provide nutritious food to them at least once a day, I am sure they can lead a very happy life. Anchal Sharma from India ????????????
