1) Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, conceived 5 February 1985 is a Portuguese expert footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish club Real Madrid and chiefs the Portugal public group.. Often considered the best player in modern football, Ronaldo has a record-tying five Ballon d'Or awards,[3]the most for a European player in history.[4] He has won 27 trophies in his career, including five league titles, five UEFA Champions League titles, and one UEFA European Championship.
2) Lionel Mess
The Barcelona striker is one of only three footballers to win five Ballon d’Or awards, and he tops Forbes’ list of highest-paid athletes. Though his current deal with Barcelona runs through 2018, Messi has been rumored to be in negotiations with Manchester City for a transfer. His current salary is roughly $41 million a year (before taxes), according to Business Insider. That’s about $10 million more than second-ranked footballer Cristiano Ronaldo earns each year from Real Madrid.
3) Neymar Jr.
Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, commonly known as Neymar or Neymar Jr., is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for the Spanish club FC Barcelona and captains the Brazil national team. He is a forward, capable of playing on either wing, as well as a striker. Since 2009, he has played for Santos and since 2013 has been part of FC Barcelona.
4) Gareth Bale
Gareth Bale is a Welsh footballer for Real Madrid. Born on July 16, 1989, he plays as a left-winger and forwards for Wales. He was named both PFA Players' Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year in 2010 by his fellow peers as well as won several end-of-season awards from journalists. He made his international debut in 2006 and has since participated in Euro 2008, Euro 2012, 2014 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2016, and 2018 FIFA World Cup tournaments.
5) Luis Suarez
Luis Suarez is an Uruguayan professional footballer who plays for the Spanish club Barcelona. He is also currently serving a four-month suspension from FIFA for biting an Italian player. But before that occurred, he was considered one of Europe’s best players. He plays as a striker or winger for Liverpool and Uruguay national teams and he has won many awards in his career so far. 6) Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba is a French professional footballer. The 24-year-old central midfielder plays for Premier League club Manchester United and captains the France national team. Widely regarded as one of world football’s most expensive players, Pogba plays predominantly as a central midfielder but can also be deployed as an attacking midfielder, defensive midfielder, and deep-lying playmaker.
7) Kevin De Bruyne
An attacking midfielder with an eye for a pass, De Bruyne makes up one-half of Belgium’s famed MSN. He plays for Manchester City and is considered one of Europe’s most creative midfielders. The 26-year-old scored 21 goals in 34 games last season and has won two Premier League titles and two EFL Cups. De Bruyne also led Belgium to third place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup by scoring three goals in five games.
8) Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard is a Belgian footballer who plays for Chelsea F.C... He has been described as one of Europe’s top five players by UEFA. He started his career at French club Lille OSC, where he won two consecutive National Championships and was named both French Player of the Year and Young Player of The Year in 2012. At age 22, he moved to England to play for Chelsea, winning another league title in 2014–15.
9) Alexis Sanchez
Alexis Alejandro Sánchez Sánchez (born 19 December 1988) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Arsenal and captains both Chile national team and Barcelona. With Chile, Sanchez represented his country at youth levels, captaining them to victory in three editions of the Youth South American Championship and winning two consecutive editions of the Universiade. He was also part of his nation’s squad for two FIFA U-20 World Cups, reaching their final in 2007.
10) Andrés Iniesta
The Spanish midfield maestro plays for Barcelona and has been recognized as one of football’s most versatile players. Iniesta is famous for his effortless passing, vision, and movement. He has also earned a reputation as an expert at scoring from set-pieces. He is widely regarded as one of Barcelona’s greatest ever players.
