The Truth About Eating Slowly And Why It Won’t Cause Weight Loss.

Does eating slowly cause weight loss?

Natural and healthy foods are often on the menu when it comes to the taste of the food.

Many people have the idea that eating slowly will lead to weight loss. ‘Slow eating’ means reducing the amount of food we eat. This allows you to control your body weight naturally.

Two hormones, leptin and ghrelin, are associated with hunger. In it, ‘leptin’ controls the amount of calories the body needs and appetite. Helps in weight loss. ‘Kremlin’ stimulates appetite; Helps to increase body weight.

Slowly, when food is eaten for a long time, it sends signals from the brain to the hormones secreted in the gut, ‘the body has got enough food’. When eaten for more than about 20 minutes, the stomach is full to the brim.

Also, when we eat slowly, we can feel the taste and aroma of the food better. At the same time, the time to eat doubles while enjoying the taste. This will arbitrarily reduce the amount of food eaten.

Natural and healthy foods are often on the menu when it comes to the taste of the food. The next time we eat food, the appetite will occur as soon as we reach the satisfaction of the taste.

When food is chewed well, the food mixes with the saliva in the mouth. Saliva contains biologically active substances. Therefore, it starts digestion of food right from the mouth.

When eaten slowly, it takes about 20 minutes for the food to reach the stomach. This makes the work of the stomach much easier and makes the food eaten easier to digest. Thus, the next time we eat food, it will naturally overflow with excitement.

Weight Loss ... Low Fat Diet:

The general rule is that if a diet provides 100 calories and contains 3 grams or less of fat, it is a low-fat diet.

The ‘Low Fat Diet’ is one of the most important diets followed to lose weight. Doctors advise that ‘the average dietary fat level should be reduced to reduce the risk of heart disease and death’. Low-fat diets are those in which the intake is 30 percent or less. Numerous studies worldwide have shown that heart failure is more closely linked to people's diet.

The general rule is that if a diet provides 100 calories and contains 3 grams or fewer of fat, it is a low-fat diet. Low fat diets include vegetables, fruits, whole grains, egg whites, peeled chicken and turkey, beans, legumes, peas, seafood and skim milk.

Fat is essential for good health; At the same time, it should be consumed in small quantities. There are four types of fats in the diet: polyunsaturated, monounsaturated, trans and saturated. These different types of fats provide nine calories per gram. This is more than the amount of energy provided per gram of carbohydrates or proteins.

Saturated and trans fats raise low-density lipoprotein (LDL) proteins and are considered unhealthy. Whereas, monounsaturated fatty acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids that lower LDL are considered beneficial.

When we eat low fat foods, we are prevented from getting more fat than our body needs. This will reduce the accumulation of fat in the body. This reduces the risk of polycystic ovarian syndrome in women, irregular menstrual cycles caused by obesity, infertility, heart disease and many other life-threatening diseases. Also, a low fat diet can help you lose weight.
