The Umbrella Academy:
The Umbrella Academy believes they have avoided the initial apocalypse and have repaired this godforsaken chronology once and for all after stopping 1963's doomsday and returning to the present. But after a brief period of joy, they quickly come to the realization that things aren't exactly (or even at all) as they left them. The Sparrow Academy, please. The Sparrows and the Umbrellas collide right away in a violent confrontation that ends up being the least of anyone's worries. The Sparrows are intelligent, fashionable, and about as warm as a sea of icebergs. Navigating challenges, losses, and surprises of their own – and dealing with an unidentified destructive entity wreaking havoc in the Universe (something they may have caused) — now all they need to do is convince Dad’s new and possibly better family.
Stranger Things:
Six months have passed since the Battle of Star court, which left Hawkins in fear and ruins. Our group of pals is struggling with the fallout and is split up for the first time; things haven't gotten any simpler, navigating the high school complications. A terrifying supernatural menace emerges at this most perilous moment, posing a macabre conundrum that, if answered, might put a stop to the Upside Down's horrors once and for all.
Contraband:
Chris Faraday, who had long since given up on crime, is compelled to return to his profession after his brother-in-law Andy (Caleb Landry Jones) messes up a heroin deal for Tim Briggs (Giovanni Ribs), Tim's brutal employer, to pay Andy's debt. Chris, a renowned smuggler, swiftly gathers a gang with the aid of his closest friend Sebastian (Ben Foster) to travel to Panama and bring back millions of dollars worth of fake currency. Things start to fall apart rapidly, and Chris has only hours to get to the money. He must use his rusty talents to successfully negotiate a dangerous criminal network made up of vicious drug lords, cops, and hit men before his wife Kate (Kate Beckinsale) and sons become their targets.
Boo, Bitch:
The most recent Netflix series attempting to connect with the elusive adolescent is Boo, bitch. In high school, Erika VU (Lana Condor) and her best friend Gia (Zoe Colletti) were utterly overlooked. On the senior text chain, they are not. None of the parties had seen them attend. They have no idea that it is school spirit day. Gia complains, We're finally graduating from high school, and all we have to show for it is our education. The pals decide to begin living when graduation is still months away. They will attend the prom. They'll express their admiration for their crushes. They'll quit taking the safe route. Life, unfortunately, has other ideas. Erika wakes up after attending a senior class Roger to find her dead, her lifeless body decomposing beneath a bridge.
The Sea Beast:
The Sea Beast, which Chris Williams also directed in Mona and Big Hero 6, appears to be a serious candidate for the title of the greatest family movie of the year. The majority of the kids' movies on Netflix are just remade versions of poor CGI imports. When a young child boards her hero's ship to assist him in his search for enormous marine monsters, an action-packed adventure starts. Three TV Guide favorites, Karl Urban from The Boys, Dan Stevens from Legion, and Jared Harris from Chernobyl, are lending their talents as voice actors, and it's getting excellent reviews.
