The Rude man - why you should'nt listen to other people.

THE RUDE MAN

Once upon a time, there was a poor village, and there lived a young boy, Sherlock. He lived with his mother (Riley). Whenever he met a villager outside, they would say that you are the only person who can bring luck, and notoriety to the village. They used to say that we hope that one day, you will become a rich person, and his mom “Riley” used to say the same thing. Riley’s biggest dream was that her son should show these villagers, as rich men. Sherlock had some dreams of his own. But he left all his dreams, and gave more preeminence to the words of his villagers, and his mother. Now, one of the biggest goals of his life was to become a rich person.

Eventually, he left his village in search of work. He reached a town near his home.

At there, he met a wise man.

Sherlock: Hello sir, can you tell me where can I find work in this town?

The wise man: Tell me about yourself first (Sherlock told about himself)

Sherlock: I have come here to be a rich person.

The wise man: For this, you have to work hard by staying here for a long time. Are you ready?

Sherlock: Isn’t there any work that will make me rich instantly.

The wise man: No, there is nothing that will make you rich instantly.

Sherlock: Thank you (went ahead).

He met another person, who looked so rude.

Sherlock: Hello sir, can you tell me where can I find work in this town?

The rude man: Tell me about yourself first.

Sherlock: I have come here to be a rich person.

The rude man: Why do you want to be rich?

Sherlock: Because I want to show my mom, and my villagers a big person.

The rude man: Go back to your home. Don’t waste your time, go back.

He thought I had to find that wise man, because he is the only person who could guide me the best. Auspiciously, he met a kind man

Sherlock: Hello sir, can you tell me, where I can find work in this town?

The kind man: After a couple of blocks.

Sherlock: Thank you (he moved on).

Eventually, he got a job in an industrial company. A few days passed, but Sherlock was not happy with that work. He didn’t feel like there. He was missing his home a lot, as he was feeling alone. He realized, how happy he was at his home. He used to cry remembering his good old days. After spending a few months, he assured himself that now I have to go home. He packed his things, and set out back to his house.

He reached his village the next day. Whoever found him there would ask him only about his work. But he lied to everyone to avoid embarrassment. He told everyone that at this young age no one is ready to give me a job, so they called me after three years, and everybody believed him. He reached his home, and his mother cried on seeing him. But Sherlock emphatically hid his emotions. He felt that his mother also asked the same question, as the villagers asked, but it did not happen.

There, at the home, Sherlock’s old life resumed. But this time, he was happier than before, because he understood the consequence of home. His life started living happily again. But fear settled in his mind that he can’t survive without a home.

There he started many businesses in his village, but nothing works. Time went on, and he started taking more pressure on himself. On one hand, he also wanted to earn money. Now the other side, didn’t even want to leave the house.

After some time, he fell in love with a married woman (Margaret) “Because people often fall in love when their life goes on uninvolved.”

She had two children. She also liked him, but she was hiding her feeling.

One day, Sherlock expressed his feelings in front of her.

Sherlock: I love you,

Margaret: Are you mad? I’m married,

Sherlock: but you love me, too.

Margaret: You have misunderstood. Please forget about it.

After it, Sherlock leaves. But he knew she couldn’t say, but she liked him. After that, he talked to Margaret again. Sherlock proposed her to 2nd time, and she was rejected again. At that time, he wanted to get Margaret at any cost, because Sherlock had become too attached to her.

Years passed, and his anxiety was increasing that whether he will be able to become a rich person or not. Now his mother also started interrupting him daily. “Riley” used to say every day that you have to do something. Finally, one day, he set out in search of work. But this time, he went to another town. At there, he met another wise man.

Sherlock: Hello sir, can you tell me where I can find work in this town?

The Wiseman: Tell me about yourself first (Sherlock told about himself).

Sherlock: I have wasted a lot of time, I have come here to be a rich person.

The Wiseman: I know a place where you can make lots of money. For becoming a rich person you have to work hard by staying there for a long time, because nothing big gets done in a hurry.

Sherlock: Thank you (went ahead).

He met another person who looked rude, just like the person he had met in the first town.

Sherlock: Hello sir, can you tell me where I can find work in this town?

The rude man: Tell me about yourself first (Sherlock told everything in emotion).

The rude man: You’re already a rich person. You should return home.

Don’t waste mine, and your time

Sherlock got angry at him, and he went.

Sherlock met a kind man there. The kind man mentioned the same place the wise man had mentioned.

Sherlock spent fifteen days in that town, and at last, he gave up and went back to his village. The villagers asked him what happened this time. He told that they have asked me to stay for a few more months. Everyone believed what he said. He entered home, and he was trying to show his mother that everything was normal. On that day, his mother made good dishes for him, and she was taking great care of him. After that, his life again went on as before.

This time, Margaret was also giving him a lot of attention. One day Sherlock called her and asked.

Sherlock: Aren’t you still in love with me?

Margaret: No, it’s not like that, you have misunderstood.

Sherlock: (with anger) You’re lying.

Margaret: No I’m not.

Sherlock: You pay attention to me, too.

Margaret: Look, leave all these things, and focus on building your occupation, your mother expecting a lot from you. I consider you mine that’s why I am explaining to you.

Sherlock: Whatever happens, I will love you always, and then Margaret left.

Eventually, Sherlock realized his devours by Margaret’s words. He thought that if I will become a rich person, Margaret will accept my love.

In the end, he decided to go to that place where the 2nd wise man, and the kind man told him to go. Riley told him at the last moment of leaving if you don’t want then don’t go, because “some dreams are not made to be fulfilled, Dreams are made Just to be seen.” Sherlock said no, now I have to go. On his way out, he did not even once look back at Margaret, because he was so upset by her refusal.

He reached that place after traveling a long way. That place was so far away that he could not even think of going back. There all the people were looking very rich to him. There he worked so hard for a long period. He used to miss his home a lot, but he used to control his emotions by thinking of Margaret’s words.

Many years passed, and he left his job and started a business. He opened his Horse selling shop. After a few years, his business started running very successfully. Eventually, his shop became very famous in that area and he earned a lot of money.

During this entire time, he used to write letters to his mother. But Riley used to ask him only one question, when are you coming?

Eventually one day, he agreed to go home. He wore expensive cloth, took a lot of money, and sat in his expensive chariot. Because he wanted to show the villagers that he had become a rich man.

On his way, he found the same where he had gone before. He met that 2nd wise man.

Sherlock: Did you recognize me?

The wise man: Yes, I recognized you. I knew you would do something big.

Sherlock took some money out of his suitcase, and gave it to him. Then he saw that rude man, and Sherlock ignored him. Then he met the kind man, he also gave him some money. Then he left in his chariot towards the village. On the way, he found the first town he had worked in. He met that first wise man, and gave some money to him. Then he saw that first rude man, the rude man called him, but Sherlock ignored him. Then he gave some money to that first kind man.

Finally, after a long journey, he reached his village. But it didn’t happen there, as he thought. There he saw many new, and rich people like him. He could not find those old people he knew. Sherlock went to everyone’s houses one by one, and he finally found that more than half the people had died of old age. And those who survived didn’t care about Sherlock being rich. He got very disappointed to see all this stuff. Finally, he reached, and entered his home. And there, someone told him that his mother had died shortly before he arrived. Sherlock started crying loudly on seeing all this. After some time, he saw a letter in the hands of his mother. Sherlock started reading the letter.

“Dear son,

I am very happy that you have become a successful person. I have fulfilled all my hobbies with the money you sent. Now I just want to see you in front of me. In life, you obeyed all my words except that word what I said before you left, I am sure you will fulfill my last wish too.”

And as soon as he read this, tears came to his eyes again. After it, he went to Margaret, and there, he found that she was preparing to go somewhere.

  Sherlock: Where are you going?

(Margaret was stunned to see him.)

Margaret:  You came too late, I waited for you too long. But now, I am leaving this village with my husband, and my children, and going forever, because my husband has got a good job in some city.

Sherlock: But now tell me that you love me,

Margaret: I love you. After that, she left the village for always.

After days, Sherlock packed his bag. He kept Riley’s photo in his bag. He took all kinds of stuff that was necessary for the journey.

On the way, he had met the same rude man he had met earlier in the city.

Rude man: (He said, looking at his face) you seem like a poor person now.

Sherlock tries to give him some money, but he refused.

Rude man: Don’t waste mine, and your time.

After it, Sherlock left.

But people were surprised to see his shop at that place, because his famous shop was closed for years. Will Sherlock ever return to open his shop?
